And then, on top of that, the beautiful news that you and your partner are expecting a baby girl. One of the first things youโll be able to tell your little one is that her dad is a superhero who finished the Tour de France. Sheโll be proud, just like we are proud of you.
๐ง๐ช The other made his Tour de France debut for our team. Off the bike, he stole the show with his always entertaining vlogs. On the bike, he flew. Mountains may not be his dream, but over the past weeks, ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ looked like an honorary climber. The perfect example of rising above yourself when it matters most.

ร stata una Vuelta molto tosta dove come squadra abbiamo avuti momenti bellissimi, ma anche momenti molto difficili da gestire. Tre giorni dopo era giร ora di andare a tutta nella crono individuale. Ci ho messo tutto me stesso con l'obiettivo di un podio, invece รจ arrivato addirittura l'oro. Il giorno seguente un altro oro nel Mixed Relay a coronamento di una bella prestazione di squadra. Domenica nella corsa in linea abbiamo corso uniti, da Squadra, ma purtroppo il tanto lavoro che abbiamo fatto, non ci ha portato il risultato sperato, le corse vanno anche cosรฌ.
Grazie ai CT e allo staff per la fiducia e l'opportunitร di indossare la Maglia Azzurra e grazie tutti i compagni/e di Nazionale per i momenti passati assieme.
Una settima di grandissime emozioni, specialmente potendole condividere con e la mia famiglia che era all'arrivo, un grande grazie a loro per il supporto continuo!

I needed a few days to process all the emotions of last week, actually of the whole last month.
A really hard Vuelta, where we had many highlights, but unfortunately also some downs that were difficult to accept. Anyway three days after Madrid, was already time to go full in the ITT. I have pushed everything i had with a podium spot as a realistic objective in mind, but to reach the gold medal it has been amazing. The day after again a gold medal in the Mixed Relay, after a great team effort. While sunday, despite racing well and putting in a lot of wok together, we couldn't finish it off, but that's also part of racing.
Thanks to the coaches and the whole national team for the trust and the opportunity to race in the Maglia Azzurra. Thanks also to all my national mates for the nice moment together.
A week full of emotions and it was really special that i could share them with and my family at the finish, a huge thanks to them for always supporting me!
