Last week I have visited the Edinburgh!
I must say, the place really wowed me with great staff and delicious food🤤🤤
I loved the Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll at Paratha Box – sumptuous, unique and packed with flavour. Also tried their vegetable pizza on paratha bread (a first for me!) – lighter than traditional dough but with amazing depth of taste.
Add some loaded curly fries and I left well-fed and happy! Highly recommend for takeaway or dining in at their modern venue on Liberton Road🤩🫶✨

And I bet you didn’t know about it, which is honestly a shame, because this is easily one of the top 3 meals I’ve EVER had in Edinburgh.
📍 is tucked inside No.11 Hotel, just a 10-minute walk from St James Quarter or Calton Hill. Hidden on a quiet back street, it’s very much a locals-only secret - not the kind of place you just stumble upon 👀
Now let’s talk about the food…
One of the most elegant and thoughtfully curated meals I’ve had in a long time. Every single bite was sensational. Seriously, where has this chef been hiding all my life?! 🥹🤯
For starters, we had scallops with Stornoway pudding and smoked salmon topped with the most exquisite beetroot caviar (yuuuum!).
Incredible quality, beautifully balanced flavours, and popping those little caviar pearls was way too fun.
For mains, we went for fried beef fillet and duck breast, and I can confidently say I’ve never had duck this good, even in Paris, where it’s basically a national treasure. Both meats were insanely tender and cooked to absolute perfection: not bloody, just perfectly pink.
Even though I was full, I’m so glad I ordered dessert. The chocolate mousse was divine and decadent, paired perfectly with a refreshing champagne sorbet. And the crumble? The deconstructed approach worked wonders.
An outstanding meal from start to finish - and I’ll definitely be back on some occasion ❤️

I recently stopped by NAM on Haymarket in Edinburgh and finally tried their festive menu - and honestly, I loved every single bite.
First of all, can we talk about the value? It’s £28 for two courses or £33 for three, and somehow that includes some of their most iconic, internet-famous dishes.🤩
Yes, I’m talking about the legendary PHOZILLA. The one with the huge beef rib that you’ve probably seen all over social media. It’s just as dramatic in real life: rich, comforting, deeply flavourful, and completely worth the hype. My husband had the lemongrass coconut lamb, which was fragrant, warming, and beautifully balanced. One of those dishes where you keep going back for “just one more bite”.🤤
And then there are the spring rolls - both fried and fresh - which are my ultimate comfort food at NAM. I order them every time, and I always will. Crispy, fresh, light, and so satisfying… they taste like a hug, honestly.
Dessert was the coconut ice cream, and it was the perfect way to finish. They are super light, with this amazing flaky texture that made it feel extra special and refreshing. It's like a shaved ice and gelato have a baby! 🥥🍦
Everything tasted amazing, the menu felt generous and festive, and the whole meal reminded me why NAM is one of those places I keep coming back to - great food, big flavours, and pure joy on a plate. 🥰❤️

At Bird & Blend on Rose Street, we started with a seasonal cocktail (think tea tasting like hot choc 🤯), played a fun tea-matching game, and dipped into the history behind our favourite cuppa.
Then came the tasting: nine unique teas that sparked ideas for our own blends. We created a group signature tea, sipped a cosy sticky chai, and crafted three personalised blends to take home.
There was even a matcha demo which might have unlocked a new obsession.
We wrapped up with a cute goody bag, a tasting journal, and 10% off to shop more tea.
If you’re planning a cosy girls’ day out this winter… this is perfection. ✨

If you don't know spaetzle, they are kind of small, soft dumplings/noodles, served with sauces and toppings, known to be a beloved comfort food at Alsace and Swabia (and several different regions in the area!)
made their way to this year and I knew I have to try it. First time I had spaetzle was in my auntie's house in Schwarzwald in Germany, and I love love love them since then!
I chose a ragu option with a hearty meat and tomato sauce, and my bestie went for truffle and mushrooms. Both were topped with some crispy fried onion.
It may look messy but it's amazingly delicious, a proper comfort food and the portions are MASSIVE! I was so full for the whole day after eating this 😂
Make sure to go and try spaetzle and let me know later how you liked it!

If you’re visiting the Edinburgh Christmas Market, you have to try this cosy crumble stand! You pick your base - apple, cherry, strawberry or rhubarb - then load it up with toppings like classic crumble, Biscoff, Oreo and a choice of delicious sauces. It’s warm, fragrant, absolutely delicious and honestly one of my favourite treats from the market so far.
They even serve it in edible cups! 🍪
Just a little warning: they’re super generous with the sauce, so the cups can get a bit slippery… handle with care (but trust me, it’s worth it).
Perfect festive comfort food 🤍✨

Freshly fried, warm, crispy on the outside and soft inside. You also get to choose from so many sauces and toppings. I went for white chocolate & pistachio and I swear it tasted like Christmas in dessert form. Absolutely yummy and 100% worth freezing fingers for. 🤤✨
And because I’m incapable of walking away from anything chocolatey, I grabbed their Baileys hot chocolate too - topped with melty marshmallows and a tiny choco stick. It’s the kind of drink that makes you forget it’s cold and rainy and you’ve lost feeling in your toes. ☕️❄️
If you’re at the Edinburgh Christmas Market this year, run (don’t walk) to this stall. It’s festive happiness in snack form. 🎄✨
And to be fair - these are much better than ones I ate in Seville 👀✨️

Their loaded fries are next-level: piping hot, packed to the brim, dripping with flavourful sauces, and genuinely addictive.
We went for the vegetarian version, and it was incredible - rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned, and just as satisfying as the classic options. I loved the spicy version of mine with cheese and jalapeños for that extra kick, and honestly, it kept me warm and toasty for the rest of the day as we wandered through all the twinkling lights and wooden Christmas stalls.
If you’re after street food, comfort food, or something cosy and delicious to fuel your festive market exploring, Festive Fries is an absolute must-try!

📍 is a new sister restaurant of a beloved.
With modern small plates concept they reintroduce Japanese classics and boy, they do it WELL.
You know how picky and critical I am when we talk about Japanese food outside of Japan, right? Well, this place would easily earn its spot in the middle of Tokyo, it's that good.
Not only it's one of the most beautiful restaurants in Edinburgh when you look for an elegant simplicity, but also every single dish we had was a WOW. 🤯
We started with a semi dry sake and it was a great choice, as it did what sake is doing best - it boosted our appetite 🤭
Then all the plates arrived.
