ecoeat大津瀬田店がオープンしてから、2025年7月19日までの約4年10ヶ月、大変皆様にお世話になりました。
突然このような形になりましたが、
私たちエコイート大津瀬田店運営側も閉店するという決断を急遽決めました。
エコイートフリークのかたがたや、日々ご来店頂いていたお客さまなど、多数のお問い合わせをいただいております。
閉店に関する全ての疑問やお問い合わせにお答えが出来かねる状況ですが、1つだけ言えることはエコイート大津瀬田店は失敗ではなかったということです。

毎月、エコイート全店の中でも圧倒的売り場面積を誇る大津瀬田店単店で、毎月トン（重さ）の単位で食品ロスを削減できたこと、意味のある食料支援を続けられたこと、食品ロス削減に興味のなかった方にも興味を持っていただけたこと、良いことをするためにという理由だけで補助金や助成金（要するに税金）に頼らず、またボランティア活動（無償の労働力）に頼らず、全て自分たちで稼いで少ないながらもスタッフに給料を払って、税金を納めて自分たちでハードルの高いことをやり遂げてきました。
もちろんお客さまのご協力（お買い物）があって
エコイート大津瀬田店は全て成り立っていました。
本当に心から感謝申し上げます。
一緒に働いていただいたスタッフや、エコイート大津瀬田店に携わっていただいた全ての関係者にもお礼申し上げます。

のメンバー3名が店内撮影、取材に来店されました。
こちらの団体様をご紹介させていただくと立命館大学万博学生委員会「おおきに」は、大阪・関西万博への参画を学生の学びと成長の機会にすべく2023年4月に発足。
16学部全てから総勢200名ほどの学生が所属。「未来への挑戦」をミッションに掲げ、大阪・関西万博での出展を目指し、社会課題解決や学生と地域・企業などをつなぐ架け橋として活動してらっしゃいます。
今回、店内撮影された、たくさんの写真を組み合わせて大きな1枚の写真やイラストとして表現するモザイクアートの商材集めに来店されました。
イメージ写真の公開は出来ないのでイメージだけお伝えすると食品ロスに関連する写真がたくさん貼られていてそれが、1枚絵としても完成されている。
その絵の背景を一つ一つ見ると「食品ロス」に関して色んなことを考えさせられる。そんなイメージの作品を万博の出展に向け準備されている立命館大学万博学生委員会「おおきに」をecoeat大津瀬田店は応援しています📣
