CLIENT PROFILE📝…

Doing a set of brows isn’t as easy as just doing the same thing on every single person and getting good results. It’s about adjusting your technique to suit that exact clients features, knowing what changes to make and feeling confident in your decisions.

Thinner, more mature skin is really difficult for alot of artists. I am by no means perfect and I still learn from every single client I take on. Hopefully this helps somebody out there seeing the breakdown of how I work✨

“I don’t want anything too dark or bold, I’m too old for that”

^^ I would put money on most of my clients saying this to me when they sit down for our consultation😅… & that’s okay!

🧠Did you know more than half of my clientele that visit for cosmetic tattooing are between the ages of 40-80? I am highly educated in working on people who want natural, almost unnoticeable results. Not only that but their skin profiles need to be considered carefully before completing the treatment:

1. How thick or thin is their skin?
2. Is their skin sensitive/ have a lot of redness?
3. What type of skin do they have around their brows? Dry, flakey, oily, porous?

These will determine what products I use along with how I work in the skin.

If these factors aren’t considered properly then results can end up looking heavy, blurry and unnatural.

If you are looking to have your brows done, or maybe aren’t sure what treatment would be best for you, please drop me a message to claim your FREE virtual consultation where we can discuss the best treatment for you 📩
Why Lip Blush might be your next best investment..💰

I absolutely love lip blush, & to be honest, 2026 I might get my own done too!!

If you are someone who:
>Cant leave the house without lipstick
>Feels their lips are unsymmetrical
>Feels they have no colour to their lips

Then lip blush can:

💋 RESTORE DEFINITION

💋MAKE YOUR LIPS FEEL ALIVE AGAIN

💋 RESTORE SYMMETRY

All while being low maintenance and natural, meaning less time in the morning applying makeup and more time feeling amazing… or more time in bed if you are like me😋

2026 is the year of the natural blushed lip.. if you want to get involved drop me a message for your FREE virtual consultation 📩

“You move and rise with confidence.
Doors open. Momentum returns.
You’re finally walking in the direction that feels right” - Vex King

I am SO excited to share that I’ll be opening my own wee studio space from spring time this year!!

2025 was such a hard year for me & my career. Not because anything bad happened but because I really lost sight of who I am as an artist. I lost a lot of love for what I do and I genuinely didn’t know who I was or what my place in the industry was anymore.

Lots of factors played a role in this but in the end I realised that I want to build something from the ground up. Have my own space that I can feel proud of and take ownership of. I’m so proud of what I’ve done in my career but it really is time for me to take the scary step of being my own boss.

I’ll still be working with my BrowJam family at the Academy and teaching alongside Janine on the courses which I am so so grateful for, I’m not flying the nest completely! But I’ll be taking clients from my own little slice of heaven- EBH.PMU 💖

📍 26 Castle Street, Dundee.

Clients- Please continue to book with me through the link in my bio, all bookings will continue to be through BrowJam until I announce otherwise‼️

I’ll be documenting bits of the process as I go. I can’t wait to share the studio development with you all. Thank you to everyone who gives me confidence to take such a big step, and everyone who always supports me in the things I do. I love you all!

The Skeleton🩻…aka the bones of the brow

The skeleton is a super important part of the overall brow, it is the foundation to the entire result.

With this client, her skin was very sensitive and she had also been through laser prior to having this session.

Taking these factors on board I knew I wanted to work extra slow, really taking my time to master the pressure would need to work on her particular skin type.

I was very light handed and I also didn’t rub pigment into the stroke when I first cut… I wiped to check I was happy before adding in the detail.

With every single client I alter my way of working to suit them. To suit their skin type and condition. Mastering this takes time and I won’t sit here and say I’m always perfect but I am confident I can treat 90% of people this way.

Some of my unpopular microblading opinions, as a microblading specialist ✨…

1. Microblading won’t leave scarring if it is done to a high standard, the same as any form of tattooing.

2. Mature skin is fine to microblade. We shouldn’t be looking at the clients age we should be looking at the thickness of their skin.

3. Microblading is actually an advance technique. There is a reason you don’t see thousands of unbelievable microblading artists out there and people see more bad results than good… because it’s bloody hard!!

4. Using the term semi-permanent is wrong. We can’t guarantee this to each individual client, doing so is luring them into a false sense of reality. It is misleading them!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments, along with any unpopular opinions of your own. I am open to chat!!👇🏼
These healed results making me feel all kinda ways 😮‍💨…

✅Crisp
✅Individual strokes
✅High colour blend
✅Natural look

How do I get these results?

It has taken me YEARS to learn how to adjust my hand to all client skin types. I know when to alter my pressure and how to saturate my work properly without over doing things.

On the flip side…

My client has beautiful skin. She has no pores, an even skin tone, no texture or oil production. She has the ideal skin type for microblading. This plays a huge role in how the brow heals- no matter how good somebody is, their work is only ever going to be as good as the canvas they are working on.

If you aren’t happy with the results you are getting my advise would be keep going. Keep learning. Keep trying to be the best artist you can be. Growth is always possible- no matter how good you are!!

If you want to master your craft and not only understand your canvas but also your tools, we have another 8 week microblading mastery bootcamp coming up in January. Don’t slack on growth… it’s time to level up 🚀 message for more information📩
CLIENT PROFILE👇🏼

Let’s chat through this client..

Thinking about the clients attributes with both hair AND skin is super important when microblading.

✨She had finer brow hairs but in certain areas they were dense and layered.

✨She lacked growth in both the front and tail compared to the body of the brow.

✨Her skin was a combination of normal & oily in the tzone area.

I decided to focus on creating a more fluid shape for her as long as fixing up the problem areas to crest a fuller, but still natural, result.

I used Bonita & Rubia, using the one pass technique to ensure skin integrity and optimum healing.

If my client needs any form of touch up she is welcome to book in for a short session at 8-12 weeks post treatment and we can go over any small areas which need it! ⏳

Microblading Results✅

Filling out the front area of a brow when there isn’t much hair can be a challenge for some artists. So, here’s some tips:

•Alwways blend with the natural flow of the clients hair

•Don’t pull too far forward from the natural growth

•Be super slow when cutting these strokes, usually they are the most visible so we want to be as precise as possible!

Also don’t forget negative space is key, we want to make sure these strokes stay individual and crisp for a natural healed result, not only now but years down the line too🔑

Let’s Talk Touch-Ups💬…

If I can teach you one things here I was to preach to you this: when taking on touch up clients you shouldn’t always be going over the whole brow again!!!

A touch-up is exactly that…. A TOUCH UP… making small tweaks to what is already there. If you have your technique down then only small areas should need work when returning to you.

The first thing I look for is gaps. What small areas have lost pigment that make a different to the brow? Then once I have sussed them out, I focus on making them crisp again.

I don’t compromise my negative space. I don’t cram in loads of new strokes.

If it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it!! 🛠️

Only do the work that really needs done. This is going to ensure you aren’t over saturating the brow. Meaning your client can maintain a natural healed result over time.

It also means minimal trauma to the skin. Remember the less we go into the skin the more the skin will keep its integrity. We don’t want to be cutting it open for no good reason.

So remember- a touchup doesn’t mean going over all of your work again… it means making small tweaks to enhance what is already there 🤍
