This second location of CPK is large and a more mature and moodier sister to their bright Windermere location. They also have a lounge space here. On the menu, you can still find a variety of pizzas, pastas and other shareable options. Being located at Southgate makes it a convenient option for food after you’re done some shopping. Beautiful resort, calm beaches, an amazing spa… but a few misses along the way.
This is my 6th time in Mexico and my second time at a Grand Palladium resort! All inclusive vacations are great for relaxing and Grand Palladium has large resort stays - I think it’s a solid option for families and groups but not going to mark it as my top/favourite Mexico stay.

I haven’t been here in a while, but this ended up being the best sushi we’ve had recently and now I’m wondering why I waited so long to come back.
Highlights:
🍣 Aburi salmon: unreal, melt in your mouth good
🍣 Hotate-gai: so plump and fresh
🍣 Negitoro: hands down the best I’ve had in a while
I’ve come to appreciate nigiri and prefer these options much more over dressed up rolls… Good sushi, reasonable prices, and zero gimmicks. I’ll definitely be back for my next sushi craving ☺️

There’s about 28 items on the AYCE menu. Choose your meats and appis and then visit the self serve salad and sauce bar. Some sides, like soups, corn cheese and steamed egg, are an additional cost.
Space was big and staff were attentive. Overall, nice to have another AYCE Korean BBQ option! I don’t typically go for all you can eat (quality over quantity gal) but with their fair pricing, it’s definitely a contending option for AYCE!

Here’s what I tried!
🥓 Bacn Me Crazy Poutine - 10/10. Crispy hash browns, fluffy eggs, and my fave item. Would absolutely reorder.
🍳 Jive n Chive Sandwich - Soft toasted brioche with fluffy egg. Not bad, but the bun-to-egg ratio was a bit heavy on the bread for my preference.
🍔 Loaded Hatchd Burger - A hearty, loaded burger topped with an egg, ideal if you’re looking for a more filling, later-in-the-day meal.
🌯 Cali Wrapp’d Burrito - Loved the hash brown inside! Well-wrapped, balanced, and satisfying.
🍵 Strawberry Matcha & Ube Matcha (seasonal) - On the sweeter side, but surprisingly good for a non-café spot.
With nothing over $15 and breakfast available all day, this is a spot I’d recommend and will definitely try to come back to.
Had planned to check them out but extra thankful for the invite and to be hosted!
