We were so excited that this danish japanese sushi chain (which is VERY popular in London) has finally landed in Manchester in the heart of spinningfields!
First of all the interiors are STUNNING and the outside area with heaters is perfect for a lil people watching moment with some sushi!
We started with some mocktails including a matcha mocktail which was really interesting!
The first round of food that came to us was the spicy edamame, the gooey croquettes with mushroom danish cheese and truffle and the perfectly seared steak tataki! This was an incredible start to the meal! Iโll have a bucket of the croquettes pls xxxx
Then out came the chicken gyoza with dancing bonito flakes, the creamy lobster temaki and the sushi platter!
We wanted to try a range of sushi so got the maki maki a platter. Our fave was the Hellโs Kitchen sushi with the tempura prawn, tuna, spicy sauce and avocado!! They were delish!!
And do not miss out on the skewers! Theyโve got quite a selection but our fave were the scallops wrapped in bacon and herb butter, and the teriyaki salmon!! The sauces were so glossy and perfect!
Honestly what a fabulous meal!! ๐ซถ๐ป๐ธ

Thereโs a new independent Korean bakery ran by the amazing Gyuri who works day and night making these incredible cookies inspired by iconic Korean flavours!
All cookies are for pre orders and pop ups around Manchester so make sure you keep an eye on her social media for announcements and details!! โจ
The Yakgwa vanilla cheesecake cookie is so pretty with the traditional Korean honey and ginger soaked pastry on top of the cookie filled with soft creamyyy vanilla cheesecake ๐คค
The caramelised sweet potato and cream cheese was so delicious and 100% convinced me that sweet potato belongs in desserts!
The black sesame cookies with black sesame ganache was sweet and nutty perfection!
But as gochujang (Korean chilli paste) addicts we absolutely loved the sweet and spicy contrast of the caramel gochujang cookie!
All of the cookies are so soft and delicious with incredibly tasty! Gyuri has been selling out her pre orders and at pop ups quickly so make sure you keep your eyes peeled to get them!

We started off at where we had our fave katsu chicken rice bowl and golden glow smoothie! This smoothie is literally so good! I think the almond butter makes it next level! Everything here is so fresh and made in house which is perfect for the sunny weather and a quick lunch!
We then headed over to for our beginners pottery class! This was so much fun and weโve been wanting to try pottery spinning for the longest time! We got taught all the basic skills and then were able to make whatever we wanted! We lived our Ghost fantasy and got real messy!
We then finally met up with our friend Gyuri who has started her own bakery and got to try some of her Korean flavour inspired cookies from black sesame to gochujang!! They were incredibly tasting and so unique! She often does pop ups and collections around so keep an eye out for announcements!

This restaurant is actually in the lobby of the iconic Manchester deansgate hotel (previously the Hilton) which means itโs quite unassuming, however the standard of the food was incredible!
And on a Thursday you can get 3 courses for ยฃ20 ๐คฏ
The new spring menu is out and we tried a few dishes. Starting with the iconic Lancashire cheese custard with onion tea and a sourdough for you to dunk in both! If youโre a cheese lover thereโs no doubt youโll love this!
For starters we had the sirloin tartare which had all the components of a cheeseburger but brought freshness to the front and really wowed me! The pork belly dish was DELISH, the pork was so perfectly cooked it fell apart and the pork broth was so flavoursome!
For mains we had the small but mighty steak with homemade beef butter doused all over it and also a chimichurri butter to dunk in ๐คค the steak was so soft Iโm not sure Iโve had a steak so tender before! There are 3 types of skewers on the menu so I went for the recommended cod, octopus and chorizo which isnโt something Iโd usually go for but I was nicely surprised! All 3 components were perfectly cooked and wet really well with the romesco sauce ๐ฎโ๐จ
Howeverโฆ what suprised us most was the onion rings?! Massive, juicy and sweet onions, battered and crispy with a curry salt!! Curry salt is now a new obsession of mine and I want it on everything ๐คฉ
The desserts were the prettiest end to a lovely meal

This recently opened independent New York style pizza hot spot in The Met in Bury has been getting rave reviews! Their pizzas are massive, with thin crispy bases that hold their own (none of those annoying floppy pizzas where the toppings come off)!!
We went for the Italian sausage and the angry pig which are apparently both faves but there are new specials every so often which all sound incredible! Both were really tasty and went incredible with the SUPERZISED home made ranch dip!!
The sides were also incredible from the golden crispy mushroom arancini to the dough balls with nduja butter ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฎโ๐จ
Definitely a pizza spot to check out!

This spot is infamous for its OG location in altrincham with its al fresco dining spot for when we get that 5 mins of sun (and indoor seating too for when we donโt)
They specialise in sushi but also do amazing pan Asian street food classic dishes like the chicken gyoza ramen with the tantanmen paste broth which was creamy, spicy, nutty and umami! The egg had a PERFECTLY gooey ๐คค
We went for some of their best sushi starting with the spider urumaki. This had tempura soft shell crab, avocado, truffle mayo and orange tobiko! It was delicious!
The other was the โTunagiโ special which had spicy tuna, breaded prawn, cucumber, tuna nigiri and Japanese mayo sriracha. This was my fave it was FITT! So fresh and that mayo went so well with the tuna nigiri!
Our least fave dish was unfortunately the chicken teriyaki which was a little bit too dry but the bang bang Karaage chicken was SOOOO good! That unagi special sauce can be smothered over everything for me please xxx
Keep an eye out for some nice weather, we had a lovely day mooching around Altrinchamโs markets, shops and streets before finishing off with a sushi date ๐ซถ๐ปโจ

This place has been allll over my reels and FYP and Iโm Buzzin that weโve been able to try it!
The birria tacos are absolutely delicious, the slow cooked fall-apart beef and the mountain of cheese dunked into the deeply rich and spicy consommรฉ, it was heaven!! ๐ฅ This consommรฉ was above and beyond others I have tried in the past!
If youโre a lover of the consommรฉ you need to get the birria ramen! Heaps of cheese and slow cooked beef, ramen noodles all soaked in the beef broth consommรฉ ๐ฅต๐ฅต the portion was HUGE and made for the best cheese pulls!
The loaded fries were another mountain of spicy slow cooked beef and cheese with a creamy guac and zesty salsa ๐๐ป
This was one of the messiest but tastiest meals Iโve had in a long while and no wonder itโs gone insanely viral! In and around Manchester you can visit them at two locations:
- Piccadilly gardens market stalls
- food hall on Salford Quays

This is in Manchester and they have been all over my feed for their incredible mozzarella sticks! But I was nicely suprised at how tasty the rest of the meal was!
Letโs start with the mozzy sticks! They were HUGE, smothered in nduja hot honey, crispy coating and made the biggest cheese pulls I have seen in a long time!
The deep dish focaccia based pizza with pepperoni was DELISH! It was extremely filling but I couldnโt stop eating it! The Napoli sauce was so tastyyyy!
The rigatoni all vodka was rich and creamy and the added guanciale was definitely worth it!!
The garlic twists were delish too with a pot of the incredible Napoli sauce that goes on the pizza! The pizza definitely got dunked into this too ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฎโ๐จ
Itโs such a lovely moody date night spot with immaculate vibes, cocktails and mocktails. Would recommend! ๐ฎ๐น

Iโll be honest Iโve seen so many people try hot pot but wasnโt 100% sure what to expect! This spot was hidden in the back of Manchesters Genting casinoโฆ you could even say itโs a hidden gem ๐ and itโs a really good late night spot for yapping away over good food (itโs open till 2-3am)!
The team were incredible and so friendly, they walked us through the menu, what to do and we had a full sheet of cooking times for everything we ordered! So donโt worry about that! Once we got used to it we were obsessed!
We went for two broths, the spicy broth with Sichuan peppercorns and dried chillies and the golden broth with was rich, savoury and umami! Both were delicious but if you canโt handle the numbing Sichuan spice definitely opt for the golden broth itโs amazing!
We dunked our wagyu ribeye, fish ball platter, lotus root, noodles and veggies into the broths which took a few seconds and soaked up all that delicious broth!! The fish balls were so juicy and tasty!
Also donโt forget the sauce bar where you can make your custom dips and your sides as theyโre also fab!!

The competition between these is insane and expect queues at every single one because they are all extremely popular with locals and tourists! All of them dish up incredible pastel de natas every day and have you even been to Lisbon without trying one???
In each one you will be served fresh pastries that are often still warm from the oven as the demand is so high! With a sprinkle of cinammon theyโre incredible! Iโm obsessed ๐ฎโ๐จ
