After many sunny seasons together, I have made the heart wrenching decision that we can no longer continue our business.
Itās been a challenging time as a small business, navigating rising costs, international turbulence. Brexit has made shipping near impossible and limited our market. With the UKās financial instability, it has become harder each year to make ends meet.
This company has been my baby for 10 years. Now I have a young family who require more of my love and attention than Iāve been able to give. Iāve learned that, on my journey as a mum, it is not possible to have it all at once.
And so, with sadness and soul searching Iāve made the decision that, for now, we are going to close. I hope we reopen someday, like a magical chocolate factory, with new designs to delight you.
This a goodbye with gratitudeāI am endlessly thankful for every message, every order, and every moment youāve shared with us under one of our parasols, and for our team, our makers and the people who have supported us over many years.
It has been a momentous year to cap off a decade of parasols, we won the Best Emerging Brand Award from Great British Brands and we produced a sell out 2025 collection, I am so happy you loved the designs and I hope they continue to ornament your gardens.
Before we part ways, we still have a handful of our most beautiful pieces leftāparasols we truly adore, ready to find their final homes.
We will not be making more products in the foreseeable future, so if thereās a parasol, canopy or cushion youāve had your eye on, please donāt miss out. We have brought our USA stock back to the UK so you have some beauties to choose between.
We will be turning off the lights around the end of September. We will be sharing parasol care guides, repair guides and listed stockists of spare parts to support you when we go.
