They say there are no coincidences. On the day David Gulpilil passed, the land spoke, revealing his presence in the contours of distant salt lakes, as though Country itself held memory in form.
“One Red Blood” is a tribute and a meeting place between worlds, honouring the life, legacy, and spirit of David Gulpilil Ridjimiraril Dalaithngu through image, story, weaving, and film.
Presented by Phoebe Marson Gulpilil, Damian Walshe-Howling, and Eamon Wyss, with contributions from Bula’Bula Arts and Savage Films, the exhibition reflects on connection, lineage, and the patterns that bind people to Country.
