The full height layout completely changes the feel of the space once it starts going in, especially with the natural texture and variation through each tile. It’s clean and modern, but still has a bit of warmth to it once the light hits the walls.

The timber ceilings are now in, the timber door frames are being installed throughout, and with the walls and ceilings painted, you can finally start to see all the materials working together instead of feeling like a construction site.
Up on the top floor, the timber cladding is also complete and adds a heap of warmth to the newer part of the build, especially once the natural light comes through those spaces.
Still plenty happening across the project, but this is usually the point where the whole home really starts to come to life.

The design works beautifully across both parts of the home, sitting naturally within the restored front rooms while still feeling clean and contemporary through the newer spaces at the rear. It’s helped create a really cohesive feel as you move through the house, despite the contrast between old and new.
Outside, the courtyard cladding is currently being painted, landscaping is well underway, and the garden is already starting to soften the space with layers of greenery and large feature stones throughout.
There’s a lot happening across site at the moment, and it’s exciting seeing all these different parts of the project starting to come together at once.
