Unfortunately, I had a crash Thursday and beat myself up quite a bit. I tried my best to be out there, still went out for practice and qualifying and was able to put down a decent lap, but I had to make the call to pull the pin.
Having all of my closest family, friends and sponsors there, and it being in Cronulla – I’ve never wanted to race a single round so bad in my entire life. I’m not in any type of championship hunt or points situation, but I just love racing…
In the end, it was the right call. But I’m sorry to everyone who made the effort to come and see me race for the first time. I’m so devastated about missing it. 💔
On a positive note, how sick was this custom Cronulla Sharks themed gear set that they surprised me with on race day. At least I got to wear that for a bit… 🥲
