It was one of the key events of the early Italian rave and techno scene, connecting the local underground movement with the international Plus 8 network.

SPIRAL TRIBE
Spiral Tribe was born in England in the late 80s and became one of the most important collectives in the European rave and free party culture of the 90s.
Their philosophy is based on three key elements:
self-organization, autonomy, and freedom of expression.
After their early activities in the UK, the group came into conflict with the British authorities, which pushed the collective to leave the United Kingdom.
From there began the European phase:
Germany, France, Spain, Italy. The collective became nomadic and transformed its identity into something even more radical. In France in particular, it became linked to the free party scene and contributed to the birth of a real European network of illegal and self-managed events.
Over time, Spiral Tribe became a symbol of rave culture as a form of cultural resistance, influencing the free party culture.

Founded in London in 1984, the collective drew inspiration from post-apocalyptic visions, transforming scrap metal into vehicles, machines, and monumental post-industrial sculptures.
Emerging from the punk movement, the Mutoids blended art, performance, recycling, and radical freedom, creating a unique visual language that would become iconic.

The Roland TB-303 (TB stands for Transistorized Bass) was conceived in 1981 by Tadao Kikumoto to provide bass lines for guitarists
during practice sessions.
In the end, however, it was largely ignored by musicians, who considered it a plastic toy. The instrument was unable to accurately reproduce the sound of a traditional electric bass, and it became a commercial failure.
And so, from a commercial flop, a cultural empire was born. For the Acid House and Techno movements, the Roland TB-303 became a symbol.
It was never just about timbre or groove. It was about philosophy.
The machine that the industry had discarded came to embody a new vision, transforming into a new identity and becoming a sonic innovation.
From the Acid House parties that emerged in warehouses during the ’80s to the rave, free party, and European teknival scenes of the ’90s, it became the machine of the sonic revolution.
