From sim lab breakdowns to almost graduating. What a ride.
There were moments we questioned ourselves, moments we wanted to quit, and moments we thought we’d never make it to this point. But somehow, through all the stress, long nights, failures, laughter, and memories, we kept showing up for each other.
It’s crazy to think that the same people in these clips who were nervous, overwhelmed, and just trying to survive are now almost doctors. No matter where life takes us next, a part of us will always stay here in these hallways, clinics, labs, and memories we made together. 🎓

What a special few days for our Dugoni family!
Dr. Nader Nadershahi and Dr. Craig Yarborough were each honored with the highest honor our university can bestow- the Order of the Pacific — a truly well-deserved recognition of their leadership, service, and lasting impact on our profession and university community.
Dr. Yarborough received his award at the Stockton commencement ceremony on Saturday, a meaningful full-circle moment at the very campus where his own journey began many years ago. Dr. Nadershahi was celebrated today at the dental school during his inspiring presentation to our ASDA students recapping ADA Lobby Day.
We are incredibly proud to celebrate these two Dugoni legends, both of whom have also been recognized with Emeritus status from the University. Their dedication and mentorship continue to leave a lasting mark on the Dugoni family.

The 13,000-square-foot facility will be fully accessible, sensory-friendly and purpose-built for patients who need specialized care environments or anesthesia.
California faces a critical shortage of specialty dental care, especially for children and adults with developmental disabilities, sensory challenges or complex medical needs. This new facility on the 1st floor of our San Francisco Campus will help close that gap, tripling our capacity to serve these patients each year. It will serve those most often turned away elsewhere including children with autism, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, seniors with dementia and other patients who face steep barriers to care.
