Traffic is always bumper to bumper, but the shopping & dining experiences are fabulous on the strip. Best way for hotel hopping is via taxi or on foot.
For the first time visitors, the hotels in the middle of the strip are easiest for sightseeing but most regulars choose the ones at the north and south ends to avoid crowds. My favorites are Wynn, Palazzo, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan, & Aria for the celebrity chef’s restaurants and designer shops. The chic & stylish Fontainebleau is the newest addition to the strip at the far north end.
