Protein is essential for healthy hair because your hair is primarily made of keratin — a structural protein. But when it comes to protein supplements, more isn't always better.
Many people start taking protein powders hoping to improve hair growth, but low-quality supplements can sometimes do more harm than good. Certain products may contain artificial additives, contaminants, or even hidden testosterone-boosting ingredients that can worsen male-pattern or female-pattern hair loss.
📌 How much protein do you actually need?
For most individuals, around 1.2 g of protein per kg of body weight is sufficient. Requirements may increase if you're highly active, over 40, experiencing muscle loss, or dealing with hair thinning.
🥗 Food should always be your first source of protein.
If your lifestyle makes it difficult to meet your requirements through diet alone, then supplements can be considered.
✅ Preferred options:
• Plant Protein
• Yeast Protein
• Whey Protein Isolate
• Whey Protein Hydrolysate
The key isn't just the protein source—it's the quality.
Before buying any supplement, check for:
✔️ Third-party certifications
✔️ Heavy metal testing
✔️ No unnecessary additives
✔️ No hidden hormone boosters
✔️ Trusted brands with transparent ingredient lists
Remember: Hair growth is not about taking the most protein. It's about taking the right amount, from the right source, at the right quality.
Food first. Supplements only when needed.

Hair thinning is a progressive condition. As long as the hair follicles are alive, they can often be supported, strengthened, and preserved with the right medical management. But once a follicle is permanently lost, bringing it back becomes far more challenging.
That's why I always emphasize early intervention. The real long-term strategy isn't chasing a "miracle cure"—it's preventing further miniaturization of the follicles and slowing down the effects of DHT before significant damage occurs.
The sooner treatment begins, the greater the chance of:
✔ Preserving existing hair
✔ Improving hair density
✔ Slowing down further hair loss
✔ Maintaining results for years to come
Whether you're a celebrity or not, hair loss affects confidence. And while temporary solutions may exist, they often come with their own limitations and maintenance requirements.
The best approach is to protect what you already have before it's too late.
If you're noticing increased hair fall, widening part lines, or visible scalp show-through, don't wait for baldness to become obvious. Early diagnosis and treatment can make all the difference.

This is why we often call FST® the "Virat Kohli" of hair growth treatments — consistent, dependable, and capable of delivering remarkable results when used in the right candidate.
In this case, our patient experienced a significant improvement in hair density and scalp coverage with FST® treatment, helping restore confidence along with healthier-looking hair.
Male Patterned Baldness is a progressive condition. The earlier it is diagnosed and treated, the better the chances of preserving existing hair and improving density. Waiting for visible bald patches to worsen often makes treatment more challenging.
FST® works by targeting the root causes of hair thinning, supporting follicular health, and creating an environment that encourages stronger, healthier hair growth.
If you're noticing:
✔ Increased hair fall
✔ Widening part lines
✔ Reduced hair density
✔ Visible scalp in photographs
✔ Early signs of Male Patterned Baldness
It may be the right time to seek professional advice instead of relying on temporary fixes.
Book a consultation and understand which treatment approach is best suited for your stage of hair loss.

Facial laser hair removal is very different from laser treatment on the arms, legs, or underarms. The face is a hormone-sensitive area, which means the type, thickness, and growth pattern of hair can be influenced by hormones and underlying medical conditions.
This is exactly why facial laser treatments should ideally be performed using a medical-grade laser under the supervision of a qualified dermatologist.
Here's why:
✅ Different hair types require different laser settings
Fine facial hair and coarse facial hair respond differently to laser energy. Using the wrong settings can lead to poor results or unwanted side effects.
✅ Power matters
A medical-grade laser has sufficient energy to target and damage the hair follicle effectively. Low-powered devices often fail to achieve this.
✅ Not all lasers are created equal
Many low-cost machines available in salons, spas, and some clinics may not deliver adequate energy. Instead of reducing hair, they may sometimes stimulate dormant follicles and trigger the growth of additional hair—a phenomenon known as paradoxical hypertrichosis.
✅ The face requires expert assessment
A dermatologist evaluates your skin type, hair thickness, hormonal profile, and treatment goals before selecting the appropriate settings.
✅ Safety is as important as results
Incorrect laser parameters can increase the risk of burns, pigmentation, ineffective treatment, or stimulation of finer facial hair.
One of the biggest mistakes people make is choosing a laser treatment based only on price. A cheaper session today can sometimes result in more treatments—and more hair growth—in the future.
If your facial hair is predominantly fine and fluffy, a proper medical consultation is essential before proceeding with laser hair removal.
Remember: The goal isn't just to remove hair. The goal is to remove it safely, effectively, and permanently.
📍Choose a dermatologist.
📍Choose a medical-grade laser.
📍Choose expertise over shortcuts.

This is the kind of hair density that can be achieved with the right treatment, consistency, and early intervention.
Our patient Akshay underwent just 3 sessions of FST® (Follicular Stimulation Therapy) and experienced a remarkable improvement in hair density, scalp coverage, and overall hair quality.
Hair thinning doesn't happen overnight, and neither does hair regrowth. The key is to address the root cause early before significant follicle miniaturization occurs. When treated at the right stage, dormant and weakened follicles can often be stimulated to produce healthier, thicker hair.
✔️ Improved hair density
✔️ Better scalp coverage
✔️ Stronger, healthier-looking hair
✔️ Non-surgical treatment approach
Every patient is different, and results vary depending on factors such as age, duration of hair loss, genetic predisposition, hormonal influences, nutritional status, and scalp health. However, timely treatment can make a significant difference in preserving and improving hair growth.
If you're noticing increased hair fall, widening partitions, reduced density, or early signs of baldness, don't wait for the condition to progress.
📍The earlier you start treatment, the better the chances of retaining and restoring your hair.

Acne scars are not just a surface concern. Once deeper scars form, creams and medications can only do so much. While topical treatments can help improve pigmentation and support skin healing, in-clinic procedures are often needed to target the actual scar tissue and stimulate collagen remodeling.
For post-acne pigmentation (dark marks):
✔️ Glyco 6
✔️ Azelac RU
These help reduce post-inflammatory pigmentation and improve overall skin tone over time.
For atrophic (depressed) acne scars:
✔️ Hexilak Acne Scar Gel
May help support scar healing in selected cases, especially early scars.
However, when scars are established, we often combine advanced in-clinic treatments for better results:
✨ Fractional Laser Resurfacing
Creates controlled microscopic zones of injury in the skin, stimulating new collagen formation and improving skin texture, pores, and acne scars.
✨ Face PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
Uses your body's own growth factors to accelerate healing, improve skin quality, and enhance collagen production.
✨ Subcision
A specialized procedure where fibrous bands tethering the scar are released, allowing depressed scars to lift and smoothen over time.
✨ TCA CROSS
A targeted technique where high-strength TCA is applied directly into deep ice-pick scars to stimulate collagen remodeling from within.
Remember, every scar is different. The best results usually come from a customized combination of treatments rather than a single procedure.
📍Consult a qualified dermatologist to understand which treatment is best suited for your skin type and scar pattern.

Can serums really get your hairline back? 🤔
Part-2 of my reaction series where I break down some of the biggest myths surrounding hair growth serums and viral hair regrowth claims.
The truth is that there is no "magical serum" that can reverse an established receding hairline overnight. Most hairlines recede due to male pattern baldness, a condition driven by genetics, hormones (especially DHT), and progressive miniaturization of hair follicles.
While certain scientifically backed ingredients may help slow down hair loss or improve hair quality in some individuals, expecting dramatic hairline restoration from a serum alone is often unrealistic.
What many people don't realize is that early intervention makes the biggest difference. The sooner hair thinning and hairline recession are addressed, the higher the chances of preserving existing hair and achieving meaningful improvement.
Hair restoration is rarely about a single product. It involves understanding the cause of hair loss and choosing the right combination of treatments, lifestyle modifications, nutritional support, and medical management based on the individual's condition.
In this video, I discuss:
✔️ What serums can actually do
✔️ What they cannot do
✔️ Common influencer claims vs scientific reality
✔️ Why early hair management matters
✔️ When you should seek professional help
Remember: Don't judge a treatment by viral videos. Judge it by science, evidence, and long-term results.

Even the thinning of the hair follicle also slows down, which usually doesn't happen in cases of hair transplant.
Almost 70,000 hair follicles are dying out and we have the total donor area of approx 7-8k max from the back of the scalp as well as beard area to compensate. Therefore, it becomes impossible to provide full coverage.
The remaining 62-63k follicles will continue to thin out.
Hence it’s better to improve the existing hair follicles, activate the dormant ones and slow down the progression of AGA rather than rushing for the surgical process (especially giga sessions) of HAIR TRANSPLANT which again is a journey and not a destination! Except, however in few areas or limited cases of baldness where with few grafts only we can cover up the complete root loss in the frontal line and for the remaining scalp FST and medical management is the king!! 👑

Hair transplant is just an optical illusion as full restoration of hair growth is not possible because the donor never suffices.
Hair that is not transplanted keeps thinning out, and hence medical management to keep the hair is required in any case.
That's why Hair transplants, especially mega hair transplants are not as beneficial as they seem.
