From my roots in the U.S. Virgin Islands, to earning my Doctorate of Nursing Practice, to becoming the creator of Nurse Practitioners On Wheels®, the first ever mobile mental health clinic housed in a tiny home, designed to make mental healthcare more culturally accessible, particularly for women and children.
Being recognized as the 2025 Nurse Innovator of the Year by the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, being honored during the 50th Anniversary of Zeta Phi Beta’s National Education Foundation (ZNEF), and having our work featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show and other nationally recognized media outlets… none of it happened in isolation. Every milestone has been fueled by purpose, faith, and an unwavering belief that equitable access to mental health care is not a luxury. It is a right.
