This is the first of a videos about glenohumerals ligaments (LGHS).
Glenohumeral ligaments we described by Flood in 1829. Glenohumeral joint is a joint with a unstable bone components that needs glenohumeral ligaments to stabilize it.
There are three glenohumeral ligaments and one more that was recent described as a spiral glenohumeral ligament (spiral GHL).
SGHL attached in the glenoid just anterolateral to the Long Head of the Biceps tendon and it inserts in the lesser tubercle just inferior to the superior attachment of the subscapularis tendon.
LIGAMENTO GLENOHUMERAL SUPERIOR (LGHS)
Este es el primero de una serie de videos sobre los ligamentos glenohumerales. El LGHS fue descrito por Flood en 1829. La articulación glenohumeral es una articulación con componentes óseos inestables que requiere de la estabilización dinámica de los ligamentos glenohumerales.
Hay tres ligamentos glenohumerales y uno más descrito recientemente, el ligamento glenohumeral espiral.
LGHS se origina en la glenoides justo anterolateral al tendón de la Porción Larga del Bíceps y tubérculo Supraglenoideo y se inserta en el tubérculo menor del humero justo en la inserción superior del tendón del músculo subescapular.
