We spend so much time obsessing over macros, diets, and gym routines, but we often overlook the most critical factor for longevity: Community.
The data shows that loneliness and a lack of relationships can be more damaging to your health than smoking or a bad diet. Don't neglect your circle in pursuit of health—they are your health.

I’m Dr. Drew Jamieson, a Naturopathic Physician and my journey into medicine started with my own health struggles. Overcoming injuries and chronic pain through natural therapies showed me firsthand how powerful the body’s ability to heal can be when given the right tools. That experience shaped my purpose — to guide others through that same transformation.
Over the years, I’ve built a practice rooted in functional medicine, movement, and lifestyle optimization. With a background in kinesiology and strength training, I blend science and strategy — using exercise therapeutics, nutrition, and targeted supplementation to help patients perform and feel their best.
I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with top chiropractors, physiotherapists, and other integrative practitioners, while also teaching Exercise Therapeutics and Physical Medicine at the Boucher Institute (now CCNM) — mentoring future naturopathic doctors to carry the torch forward.
My areas of focus include pain management, hormones, digestion, men’s health, perimenopause/menopause, blood sugar, thyroid dysfunction, cardiovascular health, and nutrient optimization. Each treatment plan I design is individualized — practical, data-driven, and built around sustainable results.
Outside the clinic, I’m a fitness and travel enthusiast who’s visited over 90 countries (and trained in gyms across most of them). Exploring the world and studying how different cultures approach health continues to inspire how I practice today.
Thank you to all my amazing patients, colleagues, friends, and family for your constant support. None of this would be possible without you.
I truly love what I do — helping people feel their best never feels like work. To top it all off, I get to fully experience life while making incredible memories. I’ve found my calling, and I’m grateful every day to live it.
Here is to the next 10.
Leaving the city behind, the road unravels into wide open desert, where sound disappears and the horizon takes over. 🌅
Climbing the world’s tallest dune at sunrise was something we’ll never forget — every step a challenge, every view a reward. Watching the desert shift from gold to rose to deep amber was pure magic. ✨
Namibia, you were the perfect end to another African adventure! 🙏
The park stretches over 11,000 square kilometers and is home to one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world, often seen gathering by the Chobe River.
During our river safari we cruised past hippos, crocodiles, and buffalo while watching elephants wade through the water just a few feet away. On land, during our game drive we saw lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and countless bird species, making it one of the most diverse ecosystems in southern Africa.
If you’re visiting Victoria Falls, adding a Chobe day trip is a no-brainer. It’s the perfect way to experience a full safari without the long travel days.
The only thing separating you from going over are two guides holding your ankles. A setup you’d never see anywhere else in the world.
A true feel alive moment — bucket list checked, wild adventure complete, and countries 89, 90, and 91 completed. ✅
A few years back, a fitness creator I admired swam here too — he lived fully but passed suddenly at 30 from an aneurysm. I thought about him today, and how short and special this all is.
Love your people. Work hard. Help others.
And above all — LIVE, EXPERIENCE, ADVENTURE.
Don’t wait.
This is your reminder to cover the earth before it covers you.
The GaitScan plate I use in clinic has over 4,000 sensors that map out how your feet move and where the pressure loads are as you walk. It shows imbalances you’d never notice but that often drive foot, knee, ankle, or even back pain.
I’ve been working with The Orthotic Group since 2009 and have seen how custom orthotics can change the game—not just for runners, but for people of all ages and activity levels. Whether you’re training hard, chasing kids, or on your feet all day, getting the foundation right can reduce pain, prevent injuries, and improve performance.
They’re also one of the best ways to offload things like bunions, plantar fasciitis, or Morton’s neuroma.
Healthy movement starts at the feet—and I’m excited to break in my new pair soon.
What an epic night, thanks everyone for coming out and making it special.
