Finally! After 2 years of trying for a visa and getting rejected twice, I got it on my third try! ๐ฝ
It was so much harder than I thought, but thatโs why Iโm so, so happy right now.
Iโve worked as a stylist for 15 years in Japan. I love my job and my brand, but I started to think, "Whatโs next?" and wanted a new challenge. ๐โจ
My husband has been living in NYC for over 2 years. To be honest, I was scared to leave my career in Japan.
We talked and even fought many times on video calls, but it made us closer. Now, Iโm just so excited to finally live with him! โบ๏ธโฃ๏ธ
Moving to NYC and starting from zero will be hard, but I love the "trial and error" life. I want to keep learning and growing.

When I wear a dress, I always think about my "complexes."
I used to compare myself with others and feel so down. I think we all learn to do that from social media and magazines without even knowing it.
But I've realized: comparing myself to others is a waste of time. Facing the "real me" is much more important for my life. ๐ค
Actually, I have so many things I don't like about myselfโmy looks, my personality, even my background. When I was 20, my goal was just to "learn to love myself." ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Fashion is what saved me.
Just wearing my favorite clothes makes me feel so much better. When I look in the mirror and think, "I look good today!", I can smile and feel confident. This is why I love the power of clothes. ๐โโฌ
This photo is from my 30th birthday. I was nervous, but I wanted a photo of the "real me." No hiding.
I can't say I love everything about myself yet, but saying "This is me" was a big turning point. ๐คฒ
