Finally! After 2 years of trying for a visa and getting rejected twice, I got it on my third try! ๐Ÿ—ฝ

It was so much harder than I thought, but thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m so, so happy right now.

Iโ€™ve worked as a stylist for 15 years in Japan. I love my job and my brand, but I started to think, "Whatโ€™s next?" and wanted a new challenge. ๐Ÿ’ƒโœจ

My husband has been living in NYC for over 2 years. To be honest, I was scared to leave my career in Japan.
We talked and even fought many times on video calls, but it made us closer. Now, Iโ€™m just so excited to finally live with him! โ˜บ๏ธโฃ๏ธ

Moving to NYC and starting from zero will be hard, but I love the "trial and error" life. I want to keep learning and growing.

Iโ€™m leaving Haneda on May 1st. See you in NYC! โœŒ๏ธŽ

I used to think I might stay single, but then I met someone special. Now that weโ€™re married, I love him even more!

It feels so natural now to say "We" instead of "I."
(Though it might have felt too "heavy" if we weren't married yet! lol ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ)

To be honest, we are very different. Heโ€™s 10 years older and from a different country, so we often say, "We don't match at all!" But he finds that interesting and stays positive. Even when we fight, he is humble and says sorry first. ๐Ÿฅบ
(Don't worry, I say sorry too! ๐Ÿ˜!)

Iโ€™ve had my share of hard times in my 35 years, but his simple wordsโ€”"Life is for enjoying!"โ€”really saved me.
Iโ€™m so happy to finally share this with you all. โœจ

I hope we can live together in NYC very soon! ๐Ÿ™

When I wear a dress, I always think about my "complexes."
I used to compare myself with others and feel so down. I think we all learn to do that from social media and magazines without even knowing it.

But I've realized: comparing myself to others is a waste of time. Facing the "real me" is much more important for my life. ๐Ÿค”

Actually, I have so many things I don't like about myselfโ€”my looks, my personality, even my background. When I was 20, my goal was just to "learn to love myself." ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Fashion is what saved me.

Just wearing my favorite clothes makes me feel so much better. When I look in the mirror and think, "I look good today!", I can smile and feel confident. This is why I love the power of clothes. ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›

This photo is from my 30th birthday. I was nervous, but I wanted a photo of the "real me." No hiding.

I can't say I love everything about myself yet, but saying "This is me" was a big turning point. ๐Ÿคฒ

Facing yourself and trying to love yourself isn't just about wedding dresses. It's about your whole life.

"I want you to love every part of yourself."
This is the biggest reason why I am a stylist. โœจ
