Facelifts and necklifts have evolved—and so have the outcomes. What you’re seeing here in this “before” and 2 month “after”reflects the influence of advanced head and neck surgical principles applied to aesthetic surgery.

This is not a skin operation.

By working in the deep plane, beneath the SMAS and within true anatomic layers, we are able to:
• fully release retaining ligaments
• mobilize descended facial units as a composite
• restore structural relationships of the face and neck
• reestablish a clean, contiguous cervicomental angle

The result is not simply tightening—it is repositioning with purpose. The jawline is defined because the underlying architecture has been reset. The neck is refined because deeper structures have been addressed—not masked.

This level of precision and durability comes from a surgical philosophy rooted in head and neck anatomy, where respect for planes, vectors, and vascular integrity drives both safety and outcome.

And importantly—it reads as completely natural. No distortion. No tension. As she heal further and scars fade/tissue softens, she will truly look operated.

This is how advanced technique is changing the face of facial rejuvenation.

Message: Truth in before & after 📸… and the quiet power of time.

In aesthetic surgery, I don’t just create a result— the patient’s procedure becomes the starting line for a process of healing, integration, and refinement that unfolds over months.

This patient is shown before and one year after an endoscopic brow lift, lower eyelid blepharoplasty, extended deep plane facelift, deep structural neck lift, and fat transfer and the importance of this message cannot be underscored enough.

While her before pictures have makeup and the after pictures do not, you can see her face in the same position, same lighting take with the same camera so that you can appraise for yourself the shift.

To me, she looks vibrant, beautiful and her facial and neck contours look so clean. What you see here is not the immediate “after.”
It’s the settled, lived-in result.

In the early months, there is often a phase that can feel unfamiliar—swelling, firmness, a certain sharpness to the contours.
This is normal. It’s part of the body’s response to meticulous structural work.

But healing is not static. It is dynamic, intelligent, and gradual.
Over time:
• swelling resolves in layers
• tissues soften
• fat grafts integrate and vascularize
• the skin regains its natural suppleness
• movement returns in a way that feels effortless and authentic

What emerges is not a “look,” but a feeling of normalcy— a face that reads as entirely her own, without tension or artifice.

This is why I believe so strongly in showing one-year outcomes. Because they speak not only to durability, but to the quality of healing. A beautiful result is not defined in the early weeks (although showing the healing process is so good for patients to see, to shed light on it well).

If you’re considering surgery, understand this:
the journey doesn’t end in the operating room.
It evolves… and the most meaningful results are the ones that stand the test of time.

Rex turns 14 🐾👑🤍

Fourteen years of snorts, stubborn opinions, and being the undisputed king of the house.
He’s perfected the art of doing absolutely nothing… while still being everyone’s favorite.

A little grayer, a little slower—but somehow sweeter, funnier, and more charming than ever.

Rex, you’ve made every season of life better just by being in it. Still stealing hearts (and the best seat in the house) after all these years.

Happy birthday to our forever baby 🤍 I love you more than words can describe 😭👑

🗓️ April 23–26, 2026

Today’s focus: Facelift & Endoscopic Browlift.

We didn’t start with slides.
We started with perspective.

From the first session, it was clear—this isn’t about learning another technique. It’s about refining judgment, mastering anatomy, and elevating outcomes.

Deep dives into facelift strategies.
Endoscopic approaches that challenge convention.
Unfiltered discussions on what truly works in the OR.

Real conversations.
Real cases.
No filters.

Surgeons from around the world, aligned on one thing: pushing the standard forward.

This is what the next era of plastic surgery looks like.

In preparation for surgery, so many women have the exact same fears.
To put a name to them, those fears are almost always the same:
• “Will I still look like me?”
• “Will my eyes look different?”
• “Will people be able to tell?”

And the answer we build every surgical plan around:

you should look like yourself just more aligned with how you feel.

This 48-year-old came in wanting refinement, not reinvention.

A lifting of what’s fallen. A softening of what’s changed.

Nothing exaggerated. Nothing that announces itself.

Because the best results?

They don’t walk into a room and say “I had surgery.”

They make people pause and think… you look really good, what is it?

Most of our patients never share their before/afters.

So what you don’t see online is actually the majority: subtle, intentional, beautifully undetectable work.

If you’ve been thinking about it but sitting in the fear, this is your sign to at least have the conversation.

Consultations are where clarity replaces anxiety.

Motherhood is a defining role in my life and for so many women who I operate on (an appropriate thing to write, leading up to Mother’s Day 🤍). For this beautiful 50-year-old, she had had a child late in life, followed by menopause quickly after. I felt her story so much because, like me, she is an older mother at school. Our children are the same age, so when she discussed how it felt to be in a crowd of 30-year-olds with your child in an athletic event when you’re in your 50s, it really reached me personally.

I love being late in life mother. I feel like I have more patience with my children than I would have at 26. I’m almost nostalgic for the present: understanding the significance of each age, each loss of a baby tooth, learning to tie shoes, and riding bikes. I realize the fleeting nature of the moment. So does she, and she really wanted this change to feel like herself. Aging had affected her confidence, her outlook on life, and despite the fact that in her before pictures, she’s literally one of the prettiest people I have ever seen… On evaluation, she had enough laxity that I felt like I could make a profound difference in the look of her face as well as her own self image.

To tell you that I have loved this woman’s journey is an understatement. She’s such a kind and delightful soul. She has weathered healing like a strong champion which she is. What an amazing Mama. What an amazing woman.

Here she is before and 10 weeks after her:
✨ extended deep plane #facelift
✨ deep structural #necklift
✨ endoscopic #browlift
✨ facial #fattransfer
And CO2 laser to her under eyes

…and she’s back. She feels like herself again. That feeling is extending into every aspect of her life, and she is more present, happier, and more engaged with those around her. That’s the thing about women and confidence. With confidence and gumption, the world is our oyster.

Happy Mother’s Day to those out there who are selflessly and tirelessly raising the next generation to appreciate everything that a mother does. I see you! And I certainly enjoy being part of your journey.

One thing about a deep plane facelift and neck lift that gets noticed first -- that NECK. Clean lines in combination with a defined jawline is first noticeable to the patient and to loved ones. It's the first area to transform in an obvious way and I hear so many times a day "I love my neck" 🙌🏻🤍.

This gorgeous 50 year old not only wanted her neck better: she wanted proportional changes to her face to bring back youth while looking just like herself. She had seen her face change over the last few years and had tried everything to get it to not fall southward. And she's proactive, so when the tried and true minimally invasive measured didn't live up to her expectations, she sought me out for an extended deep plane facelift, necklift, lateral browlift, upper lids, and microfat transfer. Here she is before (left) and 6 months after (right) her customized facial rejuvenation. I'm not going to lie - in person, her hotness is remarkable (I know it comes through in the photos, but in person...whew 🔥 fire). She has confidence. She has moxie. I'm loving it.

When I look at her transformation, her proportional changes stand out for me. With her midface lifted and lower face slimmer, her youthful facial shape just pops. The cheek elevation and the slight upward tip of her outer eyebrow are just a few of the detailed changes that make her look so gorgeous. What do you think?

As always, so grateful to these wonderful women who share their story. Today, she did several videos that I'll be sharing this week where she talks about her decision to have surgery, the search for me, and what it feels like to have gone through this transformation. As always, gratitude abounds 🤍.
