is one of those patients that stands out. Artistic, intelligent, and beautiful, her energy lights up a room. Working with her to understand her goals and guiding her through the stages of her procedure was a treat. Here, we follow her from the start to two-weeks after rhinoplasty. The nose is still swollen, a bit upturned, and a bit stiff. All of this will continue to improve over the next year. She is a perfect candidate for rhinoplasty from a physical and emotional point of view. A good outcome depends greatly on your starting anatomy, your psychology, and your surgeon. Never underestimate any of these three factors.

Her brows are supported subtly to take away the heaviness along the outer part of her upper eyes without being overdone. Excess skin and fat were removed around the eyes and the facelift and neck lift have taken away the laxity of her lower face in a smooth and natural direction. To restore her jawline, I tightened the fine muscle layer in her neck, sculpted the deep fat layer, and reduced her submandibular glands.
The absolute key to her result is the fat grafting that I performed to her temples, brow, hollows in the inner corner of the eyes and in the deep crease under the eyes, the cheeks, chin, and the whole region around her mouth (shown with the red circles in the last two slides). As we age, not only does the skin stretch and sag, but we lose soft tissue volume and our bones actually start to recede. Careful, conservative fat transfer was critical to supporting the area around her lips and chin, improving the entire posture of her mouth.
