There are 3 types of nocturnal enuresis;
💦Primary NE - onset in childhood, resolves by adolescence
💦Primary persistent NE - onset in childhood and continues into adulthood
💦Secondary NE - develops in adult life
📈Urodynamic studies often show the bladder muscle is a bit too stiff and doesn’t relax to allow the bladder to fill (reduced bladder compliance). Sometimes we also see abnormal bladder contractions (detrusor overactivity).
The pics on this post are from a urodynamics test in a patient in her 20s who has suffered with this issue her whole life. She has always been told it’s ’in her head’…
As you can see in the pic, there is a rise in bladder pressure when the bladder should be relaxed allowing more urine to fill and allow a full nights sleep.
She now has an answer and feels validated that the cause is in her bladder, not her head! We have started some treatments to help her bladder relax which should help her bladder to hold more urine and reduce her leaks during the day and at night.

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reduce and reshape the labia minora – the inner folds of skin around the vaginal opening. Women may choose this procedure for a number of reasons, including discomfort in certain clothing, irritation during exercise, concerns during intimacy, or aesthetic preferences. 🌕Sebaceous cysts are small yellow cysts that form just below the skin surface.
🌕They develop when the sebaceous glands get blocked. This causes a build up of oil and dead skin cells.
😟These cysts are relatively harmless although they can cause cosmetic concerns, irritation or become infected.
🌸Many women choose to have them removed with a simple procedure.
👨⚕️Usually there is more than one cyst… the most I have ever removed is 50 from one patient!
