This graduating class is part of a school community that continues to raise the bar for excellence. This year, 33 students earned Highest Honors with a GPA 4.5 and above, while 688 students achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA and were recognized on the Principal’s List. Students also continued Downey High’s strong tradition of academic achievement, with more than 1,600 AP exams taken annually and a 77% pass rate.
These accomplishments reflect the hard work, dedication, and determination that define the Viking spirit. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on this incredible achievement! We are proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to all that comes next.
