And looking back, there are definitely a lot of memories of the skiing… but more than anything I just keep thinking of all the people who helped me perform in Italy and the moments that made everything so special. It takes a huge team to compete in Overall and while these clips may look random, but they and the people in them represent something much bigger to me. Something I don’t know if I’ll ever fully be able to put into words. Something that I always dreamed of, through the good times and the toughest moments. And yet, while I write this, I’m not even sure if the dream was winning the Overall title or the love and family that I’ve gained along the way.
On second thought, I guess the answer is pretty simple. So, I make this video is for you, my family (both those in the video and the ones not shown), because you’re what made this possible and what made it so incredibly special. Thank you!
