We found him almost 13 years ago one windy and cold Christmas night in the streets and he became the light and joy of my life. From being attacked and mauled almost dying 12 years ago- to removing an eye and then going blind in the other eye-to kidney disease, heart disease, thyroid issues, and compressed vertebrae’s, DookDook went through so much but never gave up. In order to protect his eye and due to his separation anxiety, he had to be with me at all times 24/7 for the past few years and we made sure we enjoyed every minute of it. DookDook had so many adventures, “ate” at the best restaurants, “played” at every dog park we could find, “watched” every show, performance, and competition that the kids’ had, and became a rising Instagram “pupfluencer” (in my mind anyways). I’m grateful for him being such an important part of my life, taking care of me as I took care of him. I felt his love. I’m so glad I took literally thousands and thousands of pictures and videos to remember him by. Ever since he left, I keep looking for him and then remember he’s not here anymore. I don’t know if I know how to be without him. Our hearts remain broken. #rainbowbridge #dodoobearz
