Lunedì 28 settembre li abbiamo accolti nella parrocchia San Francesco d’Assisi, nel quartiere La Rosa di Brindisi. Dietro questo arrivo ci sono mesi di lavoro, tante richieste e l’aiuto concreto di chi ha creduto con me in questa possibilità. A loro va il mio grazie.
Adesso quei calzari sono qui. Guardarli riporta il pensiero ai piedi di Francesco, alla fatica di camminare, al Vangelo vissuto nelle scelte di ogni giorno. Anche quando seguirlo costava.
Fino al 4 ottobre potete venire a fermarvi davanti alla reliquia. Per pregare, per affidare qualcuno al Signore o anche soltanto per stare un po’ in silenzio.
