This artwork was born layer by layer — not rushed, not accidental, but intentionally crafted to carry emotion, texture, and energy.
Day 1
I sculpted the feminine silhouette by hand using foam and plaster, shaping the body as a symbol of strength, softness, and presence.
Day 2
I applied a two-component crackle system — a base layer followed by crackle paste. This stage is about surrender: you guide it, but the cracks create themselves.
Day 3
Once fully cracked, I brought the surface to life with chrome and metallic pigments, enhancing depth and highlighting every fracture like golden veins.
At the same time, I began layering the epoxy resin background, building a deep, glossy contrast that allows the figure to rise forward.
Day 4
Epoxy resin needs time — 24 hours of curing — before I could place the most important element:
the crystal heart, carefully embedded as the soul of the piece.
Day 5
Final details, balance, and refinement — when the artwork finally speaks for itself.
This piece is about feminine energy, resilience, and beauty formed through cracks.
A reminder that even broken surfaces can hold light.
