💭💡🖼️ I had an image of a group photo that would be (hopefully) more art than group shot with all our friends and family who live across 4+ continents playing tug of war.
Outcome: While not quite what was envisioned (the shot was too wide), turned out to be hilarious. We have absolutely no regrets, and it certainly kicked off cocktail hour on a high with lots of smiles and laughter!

We had a larger seating chart project (will share in future), but I took a lot of spare wood from that project with the idea to make my last min wedding signs with a nod to the historic Cape Dutch architectural style where our venue was. After measuring size, I made the decal design in and had it printed locally by to make the rest happen!

Also, sorry not sorry in advance for the amount of photos I plan to share in the next… let’s say year or so.
Perfect is the enemy of good, but the day was magical, and I don’t regret putting any of the ridiculous amounts of time or effort into the small details. From collaborating with on invitations, creating a 60 page document for the wedding coordinator and vendors (if you know me, you are not even mildly surprised to find this out), picking out brooches for groomsmen, and learning how to use a jigsaw with help from@my father-in-law to create a vintage seating plan board — and our green signage (along with the help of Canva and ), the day was absolutely incredible, but the BEST part of all was getting to marry my incredibly funny… but also ridiculously hottt, (esp in a tux, like wow 😍), and sometimes infuriatingly intelligent HUSBAND, Andrew Lumby. It was truly the best day ever.
