Today Netherlands got dressed in white and I felt excited swimming in the big swimming pool in front of my house!
With this action I would like to Express my huge respect to Netherlands for its unique beauty and its inspiring well organised society.
I live in Rotterdam. A city that is so wisely designed. It offers thousands of super nice and well maintained biking routes. We have the ability to bike from one city to another while feeling absolutely safe.
Rotterdam is one of the few European countries that is called "15min biking city". This means, you can literally find everything at a 15min biking distance (supermarkets,gyms, hospitals, etc). The number of cars is significantly less than the number of bikes!
Like many other cities in Netherlands, Rotterdam has many beautiful canals with lovely sea life (e.g. ducks, birds and swans).
Last but not least the society is so international, openmind and most of the times well educated. People from all over the world live nicely together being respectful to the origins, preferences and traditions of each other citizen.
I have been living in Netherlands for the last three years. I know that I am a foreigner, but I have so much respect for the people of this country. From the first day the local society made me feel like home..My "second home".
One day this day will be just a memory. But it will be a good one..🙏😊

It is only me that knows how much effort it took to reach this stage of my life. I had always dreamed of being able to travel in all over the world. Looking back, this year offered to me some unique life memories in two beautiful places I had never been before. Morocco🇲🇦 and Porto🇵🇹. But all started from another beautiful place that I start feeling like home, Netherlands🇳🇱. This place offered me a calm life, close to unique people where I can plan what I love most...travelling the world ✈.
And, I know that I can create beautiful memories even travelling solo. I feel great talking to locals, tasting new dishes, getting lost in unknown cities and hunting breathtaking sunsets.
But when I can do this all with another person while still being myself then the pleasure becomes greater. Thankfully I have met another passionate traveller 🐒 that makes our travelling memories even more beautiful. (Although she prevents me from getting lost...😅)
Travelling alone tastes like adventure (salt in life) but travelling together tastes like...love and adventure (salt and pepper)

It was exactly 2 YEARS ago that I made a critical life decision, that many of us have made..I decided to leave my beloved country and move abroad for second time. I was so thirsty for a more fulfilling life. I was so thirsty for a new environment where I could see myself growing, where I would feel inspired by the people around me.
That time, I had my first interview with Temporary Works Design. I still remember the first day I walked into the Rotterdam office. I felt so excited by the smiley faces, the positive and modern working environment and the friendly, international culture.
2 YEARS later I still feel the same excitement. It is the inspiring leadership, the challenging projects and the perfect teamwork that make me feel passionate about my work.
Celebrating this special day, with beloved colleagues and friends is a unique moment for me. I share this, hoping to inspire more #leaders and #managers to create an environment where people will feel excited to be part of.
