Dakar’ın kalbinde, okyanusun hemen kıyısında yükselen bu güzel yapı Grand Mosque of Dakar. 1960’larda, Fas Kralı II. Hasan’ın desteğiyle inşa edilmiş. Fas mimarisinin izlerini taşıyan cami, hem ihtişamlı hem huzur verici.
İçine girince ayrı bir sükûnet, dışına bakınca ayrı bir hayranlık bırakıyor insanda. Dakar’a yolu düşen herkesin mutlaka görmesi gereken yerlerden biri.

Right in the heart of Dakar, by the edge of the Atlantic, stands the beautiful Grand Mosque of Dakar. Built in the 1960s with the support of King Hassan II of Morocco, it carries strong influences of Moroccan architecture — majestic yet peaceful.
There’s a special kind of calm inside, and a quiet awe when you look at it from outside. Definitely one of those must-see spots if you ever find yourself in Dakar.

Petra Hazinesi, Ürdün’deki Petra antik kentinin en göz alıcı yapılarından biri. Asıl adı “El-Hazne” ama çoğu kişi ona kısaca “Hazine” diyor. Kayalara oyularak yapılmış ve yaklaşık 2.000 yıl önce Nebatiler tarafından inşa edilmiş.
Görünüşü o kadar etkileyici ki, ilk gördüğünüzde bir film setindeymişsiniz gibi hissediyorsunuz. Gerçekten de “Indiana Jones” filminden hatırlayanlar olacaktır. Yüksekliği neredeyse 40 metre ve cephesi ince ince işlenmiş detaylarla dolu.
Adı her ne kadar “Hazine” olsa da aslında bir mezar olduğu düşünülüyor. Ama halk arasında zamanla burada büyük hazineler saklandığına inanıldığı için bu ismi almış.
Bugün Petra, UNESCO Dünya Mirası listesinde ve dünyanın yeni yedi harikasından biri. Gerçekten büyüleyici bir yer!

The Treasury of Petra, or “Al-Khazneh” as it’s originally called, is one of the most stunning structures in the ancient city of Petra, Jordan. It was carved into the rock by the Nabataeans around 2,000 years ago.
Seeing it in person feels like stepping onto a movie set—it’s that impressive! In fact, you might recognize it from the Indiana Jones movie. The façade stands nearly 40 meters tall and is covered in beautifully detailed carvings.
Even though it’s called “The Treasury,” it’s actually believed to have been a tomb. But over time, legends grew that great treasures were hidden inside, which is how it got its name.
Today, Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. It’s truly a magical place!

Lüksemburg küçük ama şatolarıyla, yeşil alanlarıyla gezip görülecek çok fazla yeri olan bir ülke. Öyle küçük ki yüzölçümü açısından Yozgat’tan biraz büyük… Ama hakkını vererek gezilecek olursa 3-4 gün ayrılabilecek zenginlikte. Ama zamanım yok diyorsanız günü birlikte gidilebilir. Öyle ki biz günü birlik gittik ve yaptığımız listenin ancak dörtte birini gezebildik. Tabi bunda günlerin kısa olmasının ve drone arama kurtarma çalışmalarının da etkisi var (dronumuzu kurtaramadık bu arada ☺️)
Ülkenin 3 resmi dili var. Lüksemburgca, Fransızca ve Almanca. Bununla birlikte herkesle rahatlıkla İngilizce konuşabiliyorsunuz. Çevresindeki ülkelere göre ekonomik refah seviyesi daha yüksek. Otopark ücretleri, araç yakıt ücretleri vs çok daha uygun. Yolunuz düşerse tavsiyemizdir 🙂

Luxembourg is a small country but has many places to visit with its castles and green areas. It is so small that it is a bit bigger than Yozgat in terms of surface area… But if you want to experience it fully, it is rich enough to spend 3-4 days. But if you don’t have time, you can take a day trip. In fact, we went for a day trip and only visited a quarter of the list we made. Of course, the short days and drone search and rescue efforts also played a role in this (we couldn’t save our drone by the way ☺️)
The country has 3 official languages. Luxembourgish, French and German. However, you can easily speak English with everyone. The economic welfare level is higher compared to the surrounding countries. Parking fees, vehicle fuel prices, etc. are much more affordable. We recommend it if you pass by 🙂
