بار اولی که اومدم خونه مهشید، چیزی که قبل از دیدن خودش بعد از هفت سال قلبم رو آب کرد، بوی زرشکپلو با مرغی بود که توی راهرو پیچیده بود. هر بار که میرم پیش دوستام، عاشق اینم که بنشینیم کنج آشپزخونه و گپ بزنیم، که تماشاشون کنم. این از اون لحظات به ظاهر معمولیه که من هیچ وقت ازش سیر نمیشم و فهمیدم که توی غربت چقدر کم داشتمش. تماشای دستهای آدمها وقتی با مزهها و رنگها بازی میکنن تا یه تجربهی خوشمزه برات بسازن.

Six months had passed since I’d moved to Turkey, and I didn’t have any friends in the city. Every time I visit my friends, I adore those moments sitting in the corner of the kitchen, chatting and watching them. It’s one of those seemingly ordinary moments I can never get enough of, something I realized I deeply missed while living far away from home. Watching people’s hands gracefully play with flavors and colors, creating a delicious experience for you.
Cooking is truly precious to me, especially when it’s shared with the precious people in my life
