If Hitting and Punishment is Your Way of Discipline,
Please Check this❤️

“Fear can stop a behaviour. It cannot build a child.”

Many of us were raised believing that hitting, yelling, threatening or punishing creates discipline.

Sometimes it does create obedience.

But neuroscience reminds us of something deeper:
Behaviour may change… while the child’s inner voice quietly changes too.

Instead of learning:
✨ “I can repair my mistakes.”
✨ “My feelings are manageable.”
✨ “I am loved even when I struggle.”

They may begin believing:
• “I am bad.”
• “Love depends on my behaviour.”
• “I should hide my mistakes.”
• “Fear is how relationships work.”

Children don’t need parents who never make mistakes.
They need parents who are willing to repair them.

Discipline isn’t about controlling a child’s behaviour.
It’s about teaching the skills they don’t yet have.

✨ 4 Ways to Repair a Disconnected Relationship
❤️ Apologise sincerely when you lose your temper. Repair builds trust.
❤️ Spend 10 minutes of uninterrupted connection every day—no teaching, no correcting.
❤️ Validate feelings before solving behaviour: “I can see you’re upset.”
❤️ Create safety by reminding your child: “Nothing you do can make you lose my love.”

✨ 4 Better Ways to Discipline
🌱 Stay calm before responding. A regulated brain teaches regulation.
🌱 Set clear, respectful boundaries with logical consequences—not punishment.
🌱 Teach replacement skills instead of simply stopping behaviour. (“Let’s practise what to do instead.”)
🌱 Focus on connection first, correction second. Children learn best when they feel safe.

Years from now, your child won’t remember every rule.

They’ll remember how your voice became their inner voice.

Choose the voice they’ll carry for life. ❤️

She’s not being dramatic. She’s changing.”

I, Aditi (Certified Parenting Coach who shares real life experiences on parenting) and Shivani, Your Counsellor and Play Expert who guides with Everything related to Children, Healing, Relationships, Play and Parenting.

She cries more easily, snaps over tiny things, or suddenly wants to be left alone.

Many parents wonder,
“How can puberty already be starting? She’s only 8, 9 or 10!”

The truth is that puberty doesn’t begin with the first period. It begins much earlier.

Between 8–11 years, the brain starts sending signals to wake up the ovaries. As hormones like oestrogen begin to fluctuate, a young girl’s body and brain start preparing for adolescence.

This hormonal shift can bring:
Frequent headaches or migraines
Bloating and digestive discomfort
Mood swings and emotional sensitivity
Fatigue
Body aches
Breast tenderness
Changes in appetite and sleep

These symptoms are real. They’re not “attention-seeking” or “overreacting.”

A young brain is learning to adapt to a completely new hormonal environment while still developing emotional regulation. The prefrontal cortex—the part of the brain responsible for planning, impulse control and emotional regulation—is still maturing. That means she needs co-regulation before correction.

As parents, our role is not to dismiss these changes but to become her safe place.

Primarily,
Indulge and Explore Sports as much as possible. This massively regulates hormones🤗

Here’s what you practically do -
Emotional strength - don’t take the anger. Help them cool down and relax. Don’t Explain Them Teens and Hormones yet🤗 just gentle.

Read and Watch Good Content. Mind drives the Body. Avoid Over Age Content.

💛 Prioritise sleep, hydration, nutritious food and daily movement.
💛 Reduce stress and excessive screen time.
💛 Create conversations without shame around growing up.

Let’s prepare our daughters for puberty with knowledge, compassion and connection, not confusion and fear.

🌼 Because every strong woman was once a little girl trying to understand why her body suddenly felt different.

My 6 year old started big school Last Year and he’s 7 Now… I see a world of difference 😊

Let me take you through this difference🤗

6 year olds are going to grade 1 because they’re Physically and Mentally ready to take the big plunge.
But….
Every big jump has baby steps.
This is Not Easy.

Yes, initially the new box, the new bag, new tiffins and everything is so Enticing but when the Real School and Long Hours hit in, it becomes a Herculean task to send them to school again the next day!

Read through the slides to understand a child’s psyche about joining big school.
Here’s what we can do -
1. Sleep sleep sleep well! Nothing else works so well! Good sleep, good rest - Good Tolerance.

2. Skip the Homework struggles for a first few months. This grind has to go on forever. Help them be Centered first🤗

3. Focus more on Talking, Conversations, spending time alone and laughing to release the stress.

4. Feed Balanced and Right meals because Two important meals are in school and they may Not be fully set yet.

5. Be Kind. Be Slow. He Gentle. Don’t rush to join the rat race.

Give this lil bud time to blossom and bloom at its pace.❤️❤️

I finally stopped trying to make snack time perfect.

Now I just put a few simple things on the table and let the kids do their thing.

One adds ketchup to everything. The other thinks chocolate belongs on every snack. 😂

Somehow, the less I stress about it, the more they enjoy it. And honestly? That’s a win in my book. 💛

We truly loved Tomato Sauce and Chocolate Sauce.

Attachment is a Building - Built Brick by Brick, Moment by Moment Every Single day❤️

Children don’t say they’re Upset. They say -
‘Will you play with me?’
‘Will you sit with me?’
‘Why are you so busy?’
‘Look at my drawing Ma’
‘I Don’t want to go Ma’

Children are little developing minds who Learn Adaptation and Co Existing with the Environment around them. They are very Intelligent and quickly adapt to the environment - For the Good or For the Bad😊

These slides are meant to be a reminder of how Little Moments Shape Children - There are No Big Moments of Memory, there are the small ones that make up Connection and Attachment.

The ruffle of hair
The smile at the school gate
The last bite of the meal fed by Ma
The roughhousing game with Pa

The Little Moments need Listening and Presence.

Here’s To the Unspoken Roles of Fathers this Fathers Day!

Dads don’t just raise kids — they wire their brains.

🧠 The Neuroscience Behind “Dad Power”

❤️ Dopamine & Adventure
When dads engage in playful, unpredictable play - kids’ brains release dopamine — the “feel-good” chemical that fuels motivation, curiosity, and learning.

❤️ The Oxytocin Circuit
Physical affection triggers Oxytocin - the bonding hormone. Dads who hug and comfort teach kids that love and safety can coexist.

❤️ Stress Regulation
Children with emotionally attuned fathers show lower Cortisol levels (stress hormone). When dad stays calm under pressure, he literally teaches the child’s nervous system how to self-regulate.

❤️ Identity & Self-Worth
A dad’s validation activates the same brain centers linked with self-esteem and reward. “I’m proud of you” becomes an internal voice that lasts a lifetime.

❤️ The Cool Buddy
The ‘Good Cop’ in the family comes with lesser boundaries and more fun! Dad is liberal with Screens and Gadgets and let’s be honest- Who doesn’t want that!🙃

❤️ The Way Dad treats his Spouse and other people around him is the Building Block of How Respect should look like 🫶

This Father’s Day, Let’s Love and Respect the Unconditional Love and Sacrifices by Fathers in the Pareting Relationship 💖

Conversations that Should Not go to the ears of children…😊

Well -
Children are always Listening.
Whether they’re playing around, watching tv, just being around in the background or being silent observers.

What they Listen becomes their Perception of the World, Relationships and Situations.

Children are vulnerable and Not Mature enough to evaluate circumstances. They Start believing what the parents speak about People, Finances, Relationships and Situations.

Here is a list of conversations that children need not hear.
Well - before you say children should know Finances😁
Yes, they should definitely know…
But in Age Appropriate language because children get afraid first and Respond from a similar state of mind.
Children should definitely know Financial Planning, Budget restrictions, Budgeting, Financial Situations but First by Explaining the condition in Child appropriate language.

When children hear Spouses fight, They Literally Break from inside because-
1. They don’t know which side to choose.
2. They feel extremely insecure and afraid because you are their strongest comfort
3. They tend to pick one over another in the relationship
4. At times, they suppress anger and fear which explodes at other places!

I hope this Post helps you understand when you need to Step back and Reset what is happening at home.
Home is Safe Space❤️
Hope this helps 😊

No Hunger Tonics and No Height Increasing Hacks!!
This is The Solution 😊Trust me - give your family 21 days and see the difference!

My 10 and 6 year both are in bed by 8 p.m. and how?!

Yes, it is indeed very tough and difficult to run evening hours and rush up work to hit the bed early.
What we get in exchange for rushed evening hours is a Multi faceted All round Growth and Development.

From hitting the bed at 10 to 8 pm for the kids, I have seen a world of difference myself.

Sharp changes that I observed-
1. Absolutely great Gut function because dinner happened between 6:30 and 7 pm. Almost around sunset.

2. Much much better Regulation and Responses even after a tired day.

3. Better Growth in terms of Height and Weight as well.

Sleep gives excellent release of Serotonin and Dopamine the happy and peacefully chemicals. It improves Melatonin functions and Deep skin and hair repair too❤️

4.Much much better Immunity because Sleep improves Cell production and Cell Efficiency.

Also for children, there is a world of difference between sleeping at 8 pm and sleeping at 9:30 pm. The Growth hormone surges in these hours😊

So how can we hit the bed early?
This works for us -
1. Homework immediately post school.
2. Screen time if any for a brief period followed by a small evening snack.
3. A Park trip OR Early dinner and Then an hour of park depending on when friends come to play🙃😊
4. Come in bed by 7:45 and play a board game or read a book to turn off the lights at 8:15😊

I know this is easier said than done But if Doing Early bedtime gives you so so many benefits for which we consult doctors - isn’t this Worthy enough?😊

Tell me - Are you with me in Taking up this Growth challenge 😊😊
