Had this mirror for decor in our VIP room at Coach Nightclub for years. I absolutely love the detail but felt the gold didn’t suit our living room. I used Silkey Sand from Johnstone’s Trade Paint which is the exact match of our walls. This trick makes the mirror look like plaster mouldings to match the panelling. Mouldings are pretty pricey so can save a fortune! Plus this isn’t an antique, I bought it for £50. I wouldn’t ruin a good mirror with paint before anyone freaks out 😂
Also, up for a couple of awards this year so was trying on some different black tie looks. Thought this was fitting for a Great Gatsby Cheers 🥂
