Dar viața avea alte planuri cu mine.
În loc de Tokyo, m-am trezit pedalând 2000 km din Spania până în Agadir, Maroc. Acolo s-a rupt ceva… sau poate s-a deschis. Am înțeles că sunt liber. Atât de liber încât m-am întors în România, mi-am strâns tot ce aveam nevoie și am plecat din nou. Fără un plan clar. Drumul m-a dus din România înapoi în Spania, apoi într-un avion spre Peru, fără să știu nimic despre bikepacking sau despre America de Sud. Am învățat din mers. Zi după zi.
Am trecut Anzii, am traversat deșertul Atacama și, într-un final, am ajuns la capătul lumii, în Ushuaia, Argentina. De acolo am continuat până în Uruguay.
Acum scriu din Tokyo, doi ani mai târziu. În ultimele luni am traversat Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan și Japonia …încă încerc să procesez tot.
Când mă uit înapoi, pare ireal. Au fost momente superbe și momente care m-au rupt în două unele pe care doar eu le cunosc cu adevărat.
Mai am puțin in Japonia. Și simt că am nevoie de o mică pauză… înainte de drumul lung înapoi spre România.
