This wedding painting for Deja & Nick became the biggest wedding artwork I’ve ever created, and now… it has finally arrived in Amsterdam and found its place in their home. Seeing them hang it up together honestly made my heart so full.
in my reel you can see the whole process 😏 from the very first brush strokes to the final piece. The moment I chose to paint was this one: right after the ceremony, when they danced their way through the crowd of their favorite people, completely lost in joy, love, and celebration. 💫

Welllll… apparently all I needed was unlimited paloma’s, deep sleep, sunshine, slow mornings, uninterrupted conversations & going out to suddenly become extremely good at letting go! Feeling like the “old me” again for a few days instead of only “mama” felt unbelievably freeing🦋🪩💫
Did you know that one year of exclusive breastfeeding adds up to hundreds of hours of invisible labor: feeding, soothing, pumping, waking, holding, regulating. Over 3 years, like I did? Research estimates it totals around 2,916 hours. That’s 364 full working days. An entire year of my life…!!!😳😱🫣

The largest wedding painting I’ve ever created… and one of the most emotional ones 🤍
A 120 x 100 cm oil painting, filled with movement, joy, and that one unforgettable moment: right after the ceremony, when the couple walked through their loved ones, laughing, celebrating, surrounded by white petals in the air.
It was not an easy decision to choose the moment ☺️we went through so many beautiful memories together. But in the end, we chose the one that feels timeless. The kind of moment that will still make you smile years from now.
This artwork was created over 30 hours, using oil on canvas, finished with subtle gold details and framed as a true statement piece. For me, it’s always about more than just painting what I see, it’s about capturing a feeling that lives on.
