Ahhh another gorgeous palette from Dede! I love every single shade in this palette, it embodies holiday spirit and tones and the shimmers do truly give certain elegance to the looks! The palette is a fully magnetic 15 pan palette with 10 mattes and 5 shimmers. I have shot some footage swapping two shimmers with the two singles in the palette and how they fit to the color story, which you can see in the second half of the reel.
The two gradient singles are stunning. They are also magentic and are in the exact same size as the palette so you can swap some shades out to have these in. Actually I find it very useful to have at least one of these in the palette so I have an iridescent for highlighting the inner corner and the browbone. I love to use them as gradient, and for that you can use a finger like me or a flat brush.
Mattes: Usual matte formula: highly pigmented and vibrant. The light matte is not a white but more like a light bone color, which is also perfect for lightening the deeper shades or using as an inner corner highlight (which is what I did today). The red is more of a true red (and not as orange as in some shots) and it is super pigmented too, yet none of the shades stained me (hurray!)
Shimmers: All shimmers except the red are in a super sparkly formula and the red one has more of a metallic finish. As usual I had no issues swatching anything and I was wearing the gold champagne shade today without any creasing. Formula wise nothing feels squishy and it is on par with shimmers in the other Dede palettes.
The launch is at a such a good time also, hopefully you will get the palette just on time for holidays!
