+ Mango & Strawberry Smoothie⠀
⠀
Summer is made for cooling & fresh smoothies. The only problem is they don't keep you full for longer and those you buy out are often far from healthy. ⠀
⠀
🖐🏻Five ways you can build & boost your smoothie⠀
⠀
1. The number 1 mistake you can do is to use processed juices as liquid (which most cafes do). These juices have more ingredients than necessary and are stripped on the nutrition. ⠀
⠀
2. Add something green like zucchini, spinach, avocado or cauliflower. They leave no taste, only add goodness and creamy texture.⠀
⠀
3. Natural sweetness, not added sugars. If you want more sweetness add banana, dates, honey or coconut milk.⠀
⠀
4. Healthy fat & fibre for fullness. Because fruit is mainly made of fruit sugar, it's easy for the body to break it down and the energy goes quickly out to your bloodstream. By adding healthy fat and fibre rich food like nut butter, seeds and nut milk you stabile your blood sugar levels and stay fuller for longer.⠀
⠀
5. Experiment with superfood. This is totally optional and definitely not necessary but if you want to add more nutrition then look into superfood powders like spirulina, maca powder, pea protein, cranberry drops etc. I'm not a massive fan of supplements but I do like to boost my smoothies with some extra goodness.⠀

This was my top google search for so long. I've always struggled with bloating and sensitive digestions that I thought it was normal. Truth is, it doesn’t have to an everyday problem.
My top 6 tips of how to calm down a bloated stomach?
1. Eat food that's easy to digest. Boiled or steamed food is kinder, but oven-baked works too. Aim for simple meals like fish with veggies.
2. Healing fresh herbs instead of heavy spices or chillis.
3. Hydration! Help to get things moving and boost digestion
4. Take a break. Leave 3-4hrs between meal so the stomach got time to fully digest the food before the next meal. Even a 10-12hrs break between overnight until breakfast does wonder
5. Movement. Boost blood circulation and digestion by going for a walk or yoga
6. Keep your body calm. Stress is not a friend of yours when it comes to digesting food. Slow down and take a few big breaths.

Stuffed Baked Potatoes 3 Ways 🍠⠀
⠀
Are you a sweet potato lover like I am? I could easily live on these every day (and kind of do). Sweet potato is a great source of complex carbohydrate and high fiber content (mostly in the skin). ⠀
⠀
A. Chicken, pea pesto & fresh tomatoes ⠀
⠀
B. Turmeric scramble tofu, spicy chickpeas, tahini & fresh coriander⠀
⠀
C. Tuna, mayo, corn, lemon & fresh dill⠀
⠀
All these are also high in protein, plant based or animal protein. The combination with the nutrient of the sweet potato and the filling makes them perfect for a stable blood sugar level and keeping you full for longer.⠀

Nutrition is confusing. Everyone holds the secret formula, yet they are all saying different things.
Let me tell you the biggest secret:
food is not black & white.
Calories in vs calories out
Food labels like vegan, paleo, plant based
Superfoods
It's all overkill ✖️
For too long we have fooled ourselves to believe nutrition can be made with a formula. 'Just follow the guidelines and you'll receive XYZ'
Nutrition is so complex. The only way I can describe it is to make you first more confused. Sorry (not sorry).
The way your body digest & absorb food is constantly changing. Your movement throughout the day, sleep during the night, hormones, emotions, the combination of food & drink, disease, medications, climate, environment, toxins - the list goes on! They all play a role.
Basically, the message I want to share is: Stop overcomplicating things.
Understand that food is fuel, nourishment & medicine. Eat what feels right to you in each moment, with the right intentions in mind 🍌 Sometimes that's a healthy banana muffin and other times it can be sweet potatoes fries - then leave your body to handle the boring maths.
Crispy sourdough, creamy whole milk cottage cheese, rich extra virgin olive oil, juicy summer tomatoes, salty EBTB seasoning, and fresh chives make this the most unreal combo! ❣️
One bite and you’ll never look back.
Tag a friend who gives cottage cheese a bad rap but needs to know how freaking delicious and nutritious it actually is!
Save this if you love simple, high-protein meals and eating the rainbow! I’m bringing mine for back-to-back shifts at the hospital 😍

🐟 AIR FRIED COD — Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Brush thawed cod with extra virgin olive oil and Cajun seasoning. Spray air fryer basket and air fry cod for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

🍚 CAULI RICE BASE — Cook frozen riced cauliflower in olive oil on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add cilantro and lime juice if desired.
🥑 ASSEMBLE BOWL — When it’s time to pack lunch, combine the cauliflower rice, purple cabbage, mango salsa, fresh avocado, and Cajun cod, then drizzle with chipotle mayo.
Starting strong with these GILDAS 🫒 — such a sexy snack on a skewer! Served with a slice of sourdough slathered in fresh-churned butter 🤤🧈
Don’t be turned off by the anchovies — I promise these salty little guys taste incredible with the spicy guindilla peppers and briny olives. Plus, they’re packed with omega-3s, iron, and selenium — key nutrients for hormone balance, egg quality, and reducing inflammation ⚡️
What I used:
• Manzanilla olives
• Guindilla peppers
• White anchovies in extra virgin olive oil
• Beurre de baratte churned butter
• Fresh sourdough
How to make it:
Simply place the three ingredients on a skewer or toothpick, toast your sourdough, slather it in butter, and (optional) drizzle the gildas with a bit of extra virgin olive oil.
