I’m not going to lie, it was challenging but most good things in life are. As one of my mentors says “choose your hard”.
My partner crushed this. He led the way on all the running and started most stations so I could catch my breathe. We both got a 2nd wind around km 5 of 8.

All jokes aside it is a pretty remarkable accomplishment to be married for that long… especially in today’s world. So what’s the key to success? My parents would tell me there are many things they do together but at the same time they have their own interests and independence. Oh and my dad always jokes that he can’t afford the divorce.
Congratulations mom and dad! Happy 58th wedding anniversary.
Some may question how I can be a full-time land developer and still have time to teach my students. Well, I’ve worked very hard to automate, delegate, and simplify the work that I do on my active projects because my passion is also to teach and inspire! All the mistakes I’ve made along the way can now be mistakes that others avoid. And that’s priceless to me.
