Lately, I’ve been enjoying to spend more time at home. In Toronto we had a studio apartment, so moving to the space that’s so much bigger made me enjoy slow days at home even more. this was one of my favourite experiences I’ve had since moving to Tulum. we were on a road trip and spent a few hours exploring Chichen Itza, walking different paths and wondering how the life back then looked like, and after spending hours in the heat we drove to (in my opinion) the best cenote Ik Kil and dove right in! the rain started almost right away and experiencing it in such a special place made me dizzy from all the beauty and the energy that this place has 💔 #mustvisit #dayinmylife #digitalnomadlifestyle

every year in Toronto I would get burnt out because I felt like the only “correct” way of living is to constantly push myself and stay busy. every day off would turn into an infinite to-do list and every evening would lead me to work after work (because “work” was my hobby). for many years I didn’t even let myself to take a nap during exhausting 12hr work days because I felt that sleeping was not “productive”. moving to Tulum has definitely helped since it is a VERY slow paced town. I still sometimes have crazy busy days but I stopped overworking myself and realized that slowing down doesn’t mean that you are falling behind 🌞
