One life to live, might as well live it. How we want to live life is unique to each of us as individuals, this is my kind of living.
So grateful for the strength and confidence strength training has provided me.

That because things felt heavy, unproductive, or emotionally loud, progress must have paused. But progress doesn’t disappear just because a week is uncomfortable.
More often, it goes shows up in the moments you choose consistency over the routines you kept even when motivation wasn’t there.
In the restraint you practiced when your old patterns asked you to do more, push harder, or give up entirely.
These are not the weeks that look impressive from the outside.
They’re the weeks that build trust with yourself.
Trust that you can keep going without needing everything to feel good.
Trust that you don’t need a perfect week to move forward.
Trust that showing up imperfectly still counts.
Small wins matter because they compound.
Because they remind your nervous system that you are safe inside the process.
Because they teach you how to continue even when the conditions aren’t ideal.
So if this week felt hard,
and all you did was enough, let that be the win.
Let.it.stack.🤝
This is how hard weeks stop feeling like setbacks and start becoming part of the foundation. Every time you keep showing up you keep a promise to yourself that builds an unbreakable self trust that you can do hard things on your hardest days. 🫶🫶

As the weight gets heavier, I want more. I want to push. I want to feel like I’m chasing something again. That pull is real, and I don’t think it’s bad, but it’s loud.
The problem is, this year was never meant to be that year.
I trained less on purpose. I camped more. I snowboarded. I lived without everything revolving around a program or a deadline or needing a proper gym. And honestly, I loved that version of life.
Now time feels short. Weeks instead of months. And part of me wants to override the boundaries I set just because the excitement is back. Not because I’m ready, but because my ego misses being “in it.”
And I can feel the difference.
I’m not avoiding hard things. I’m choosing not to rush myself into a season I haven’t prepared for yet. That’s uncomfortable. It means sitting with the urge instead of acting on it.
So I’m here, in the middle, the messy middle. Strong enough to want more. Wise enough to wait(so far). Enjoying training without letting it take over my life again quite yet, soon, but not quite.
To me it feels necessary. Some may call it stagnation.
It’s patience. It's exploring other aspects of my identity I feel called to.
And I don’t fully trust it yet, but I’m listening to it anyway. But, heck, it sure is fun to be back ❤️🫶

January convinces us that change comes from intensity - more discipline, more restriction, more pressure.
But behavior change doesn’t work that way.
From a coaching and physiology standpoint, habits fail when the system demands more energy than the body can reliably give. When recovery is inconsistent. When the nervous system feels threatened instead of supported.
That’s not a motivation issue. That’s biology.
We don’t rise to our goals, we fall to the level of our habits.
And habits only stick when they fit inside real life.
If the version of you in December is strong, nourished, and steady, then the question isn’t “What should I overhaul?” It’s: “What would the person I want to be do on an average day?”
She trains at volumes she can recover from.
She eats enough to fuel her training
She doesn’t use restriction or intensity as a way to regain control.
She repeats small actions until they become automatic.
This is how identity is built, not through resets, detoxes, restriction, but through consistency. Not through pressure, but through regulation. Not through motivation, but through systems.
You don’t need a new year. You need a structure and a system that works for you. If your training or nutrition plan only works when you’re motivated, it’s not a good plan.
If this resonates, sit with it. Then choose one small system you can repeat this week. Start as small as you possibly can, even if it feels laughable, and see how many times it takes you to make that habit feel automatic.
Progress starts there.
Habits > hype.
Drop a ❤️ if you are working on a new habit.

Feeling GOOD.
Dont get me wrong, I have aches and pains from doing a fair bit of activity each week but nothing like when I was peak injury- but damn' Im shreddin the mountains and lifting well- couldnt be happier. Talk to me in 3 weeks once Ive had 200kg+ on my back for reps tho ☠️
I tweaked my knee after our 5th day of powder conditions in december- THE DAY AFTER I SIGNED UP FOR NATS ☠️- took it as a sign to imrpove. Figured out better knee steering and how to weight myself better and took alot of pressure off my quads! Shredded tuesday and wednesday this week -no doms bb!! Acclimated to the hybrid life and eating ALOT. 🤝💪
Remember, it's about what YOU want from your training that makes it rewarding ❤️

I learned that clarity comes from removal, not addition. Cognitive load is real. Clutter, unused products, inboxes, and unfinished “someday” decisions quietly tax the nervous system. When I removed what wasn’t serving me, mental bandwidth returned.
I learned humans are wired for connection. Community, volunteering, and shared presence regulate stress in ways nothing else can.
I stopped treating rumination like insight. Repetitive thinking doesn’t solve problems, it amplifies threat perception. Rumination is often a signal for action, rest, or nourishment, not more thinking.
Fueling my body has always been non-negotiable. Energy availability affects mood, cognition, skin, hair, recovery, and performance. Optimizing small details helped skin and hormones immensely.
I simplified the inputs. I stopped taking advice from people selling "solutions" and trusted professionals instead. Minimal routines done consistently outperform complex plans done briefly.
I learned to communicate sooner and more clearly. Suppressed needs elevate stress.
I improved my cardio. Cardiovascular training is a distinct stimulus with proven benefits for heart health, metabolic health, and cognitive aging.
I gave myself permission to have hobbies that don’t optimize output. Not everything needs to be measured or monetized or productive.
I took financial health seriously. Chronic financial uncertainty is a persistent stressor. Learning how money works, saving, investing, and talking about it openly reduced background anxiety.
I learned that spiritual health matters. This year I welcomed God into my life and stopped operating as if self reliance was the same as strength.
I committed to learning daily. Reading, taking classes, seeking mentorship. The brain needs training too.
I learned to put my phone down more often. Constant stimulation keeps the nervous system reactive.
None of this is extreme. None of it is glamorous. It’s human, evidence based, and repeatable. This is how I’m starting the year, and how I intend to keep living it🫶
Surrounded by amazing people today during this session which made all the difference getting back into it. Thanks for the hand offs and for help with the shirt ☠️☠️☠️☠️ thanks to for coming by to train and motivating me to try harder with her monstrous RAW bench 😍😍😍
Comp Deads x 3
Ascending eq bench trips 100, 107.5, 110kg
Fatigue single 115kg
Going to be an experimental prep, both coaching myself and running a hybrid training approach. Excited for it. Toughest part will be keepin' myself honest and not letting the inner meathead do all the decision making.

Andrea had a busy year, moving countries, taking on new hobbies and still managed to eat his way into a new weight class moving up from the 83s to the 93s. He took a slow steady approach that allowed himself to be in a surplus for the entire year and the results speak for themselves. Andrea added 80kg to his total from the previous year.
He finished with a 255kg squat (32.5kg PB), a 170kg bench (17.5kg PB) with room to spare, and a 275kg(25kg PB) deadlift that looked as though it could have been a second attempt!
Andrea is a great communicator, trusts the process, and is always willing to do the work, especially when it isn’t flashy. Huge progress, every bit of it earned, and a foundation that sets him up well for what’s next.
We took a big step back on squat training this year to address a hip shift that was starting to cause hip issues. With patience, consistency, and a lot of grit, Andrea rebuilt his squat into something absolutely heinous and through all of the boring tempo work and split squats, the man didn’t complain a bit- just put his head down and worked.
Andrea finished top 12 in a very competitive class. We are excited to grow into this class together and come for the A group;).
Some how existing in this space means that, existing now needs its own brand.
Each label pretends to be some," liberation".
Each one is still a box.
What’s clever about these archetypes is how they masquerade as choice while quietly enforcing rules.
What you should eat.
How you should train.
How much space your body is allowed to take.
The quiet rebellion isn’t choosing the right label.
It’s refusing to audition for one at all.
No archetype.
No performance.
No rules.
Just a woman, allowed to exist as they are, as we are. Choose one, choose them all, choose none of them.
I dont like having to fit into a box.
I like to lift but I also like to stretch and do pilates. I like to bake good friggin bread but I also like to eat my bro meals. I love to run down mountains, snowboard, climb, and be a whole person on my own but I also love to love my partner, build our life together. I love hard work outs but I also love rest days and relaxing.
Have the courage to not put yourself in a box and be kind. ❤️
