Schon in frühen Jahren inmitten des brodelnden Berlins Anfang der 90er hat Daniel Boon Techno in sich aufgesogen wie ein Schwamm. Schnell folgen nach den ersten eigenen erfolgreichen Partys feste Residencies in Berliner Clubs und über die Stadt hinaus gefeierte Eventreihen. Durch den klaren und unverkennbar druckvollen Sound seiner Sets avancierte Daniel Boon auch international schnell zu einem angesagten Act.
Sein erstes eigenes Label Ostfunk schlug in die gleiche Kerbe und war nicht nur in der Szene für schweißtreibende Partyreihen wie im legendärem Tresor bekannt. Um jedoch noch tiefer in einen aus Stahl und Beton gefrästen Technosound zu tauchen, steht Daniel Boon nun hinter seinem neuen Label Neuhain.
Eigene Produktionen und Remixe veröffentlicht der Urberliner auf internationalen Labels wie Tronic, IAMT oder auch Gain Records und erhält regelmäßig Support von Techno Schwergewichten wie Laurent Garnier, DJ RUSH, Joseph Capriati oder Richie Hawtin. Bookings führten Daniel Boon nicht nur in Clubs wie das Sisyphos oder Ritter Butzke in Berlin sondern längst auch um die ganze Welt, von Frankreich bis Indien und von Spanien bis in die USA.

DANIEL BOON ist ein Berliner Techno-DJ, Produzent, Labelbetreiber und Promoter, der seit den späten 1990er-Jahren fester Bestandteil der Hauptstadt-Szene ist. Seine DJ-Karriere begann 1997 im Club Matrix, wo er früh regelmäßig auflegte und sich als verlässliche Größe im Berliner Nachtleben etablierte. Musikalisch steht er für druckvollen, rave-orientierten Techno mit klarer Ausrichtung auf den Floor.
Gemeinsam mit Oliver Tatsch gründete er die Ostfunk Berlin-Partys, aus denen 2005 das Label Ostfunk Records hervorging. Er ist dort Resident-DJ und prägte insbesondere die Afterhour-Kultur, unter anderem im Sternradio. Als Clubbetreiber war er über Jahre in der MAGDAlena aktiv – eine Phase, die für ihn eine Mischung aus zweitem Zuhause, Lebenswerk und emotionalem Ausnahmezustand bedeutete, inklusive legendärem Closing, bei dem „die ganze Crew hinter ihm stand und etliche Tränen flossen“.
