Thought it's time to share a little bit about me to some of my new followers on here!
I'm Dana, and I love to shoot in flower fields [can you tell?!]
🌻I started to get really into taking photos way back when I was a young kid while traveling on our family vacations. It grew into a hobby as I started taking more photos of sunrises & sunsets, the beach, boardwalk, surfers, animals, and then started taking photos of friends and their kids [because I was the girl with the camera📷] College photography classes also helped me to learn a little more & really get interested in it.
It led to shooting weddings [shoutout to ], where I ended up meeting my husband while shooting a wedding- he was one of the groomsmen! It's funny, because I went to school for graphic design, and did not expect this to become my career path!
Back in February of this year I had my third baby boy! I also have a step son. All boy mom over here, Even my two huskies are boys!😂 Life is pure wild craziness, and I wouldn't have it any other way.😜
Since having kids, I am learning the true meaning and value of life. I want to show them it's important to work hard, but also spend time enjoying, relaxing, seeing the world and having fun experiences in life & making memories together. For this reason, I will only be taking a maximum of 3 weddings per year, and will no longer be shooting on the weekends [except for our couple holiday mini weekend dates]. I value family time so much!🩷
Along with spending time with my family & kids, I enjoy traveling, snowboarding, coffee, and catching a good sunrise. I also enjoy making fun videos for our YouTube channel [whenever I'm finally caught up on editing photoshoots]. My kids love to look back on our vacations & adventures, and that's kind of why I do what I do here!
I truly love capturing everyone's memories & milestones. There is something so amazing about capturing a moment in time forever just by the click of a button. Just knowing my images might be hanging on someone's walls, shown to children for generations to come, makes me so happy and grateful. I really enjoy what I do!🩷...
