created this gorgeous mural. Our goal here was to make this space inviting and fun for kids — with lots of vibrant color — yet not too childish so that the kids quickly outgrow the space.

Because the adjacent rooms lean more saturated and colorful, we kept the backdrop here fresh and airy—crisp white walls and a shiplap ceiling, with a soft seafoam green on the millwork as a subtle nod to the palette in the adjacent rooms. From there, we layered in color through the drapery, upholstery, and lighting.
The artwork and rug were two of the last items that we specified and truly pulled the room together. The art is an oversized photograph taken in Los Angeles, where our client grew up, in the most perfect shade of green. The soft lavender tones in the rug and the geometric design add just the right amount of warmth and interest, and connect beautifully with the rest of the room.
The end result feels collected and inviting, but still very intentional—and most importantly, a true reflection of our client.
