I thought to make a trendy carousel for 2025… but I decided to write on this post, not just for me but for you🙏🏽.
This month can feel overwhelming for some.
If you see or know someone who is being vulnerable and sharing their goals/new years resolution, as a viewer/friend/loved one, I hope you encourage them instead of doubting or getting annoyed. The energy of a new year does give courage to go after goals and desires - to start the next chapter in life. Cheer on more people this year. Be the hype person. Because you never know how much that could help someone in their journey🥹.
I hope you go after your dreams, become the best version of yourself yet, and I hope as a collective we support one another - and spread more kindness. I won’t get too into it on this post, but this past year I’ve seen (and experienced) a lot of racism and negativity online that it breaks my heart. Don’t let media get to you, don’t group everyone into the bad apples, and judge someone based on their character - not their religion or skin colour 🫶🏽🙏🏽.
Cheers to a year of authenticity, love, support and showing up for yourself in the best possible way 🐎.

The dress made it out of the stories into the feed 💅 ☺️
I’ve been to games and was never a die hard fan, just there as a sports fan and for the vibes. But, this has changed in the last month.
I’ve gained so much respect for the sport, was on the edge of my seat, adrenaline was pumping, cheering with friends, sleepless nights, joy, tears … a month I’ll remeber for a long time.
The gained so many new fans and this team brought the city (and country) together💙🤍.
Still not recovered from the heart break but this country is so damn proud of this team and I can’t wait until next season🥹.
Ps. Toronto fans are on another level 🔥.
Haven’t made a post in over 2 months…
I took the summer to be with my family and be present. As I get older I cherish those moments so much. Sometimes we get too caught up in the social media world that we don’t invest enough time with the people who care or doing what you love. I encourage you to find moments away from your phone 💛.
I’ve been low key, focused on my injury rehab. I have had solid weeks of rehabbing but I also had flare up weeks. This journey has been the hardest challenge I’ve faced in my life but I won’t quit on myself (still don’t have real answers). Taking this time to do the work in silence - when I’m ready to post about it, I will🤗
I’m still coaching my current clients (not taking on more🙏🏽) and am on the other side where I get to help coaches by being their right hand woman 💫
Barry’s, I miss y’all so much in that red room❤️🔥 miss my spicy Sundays, raging to the beat drops and all the friendly faces…only time will tell when I teach again!
Those are some updates…if you read the whole thing I appreciate you 💁🏽♀️ I know I’ve been bad at posting but I do pop in my stories 👋

Love to throw around weights. And love the chance to dress up.
Most of these fits are either from Zara, Abercrombie, and Shein ✨
Ps. I sense a theme here 🤠🤣 any favs!?
The way I speak to myself has gotten WAY better than a few months ago, but I still have some negative talk to work on. I’ve been used to seeing and moving my body a certain way for many years (14 years or so in the gym!) and in these past months I’d catch myself getting frustrated with the new cellulite / changes in muscle definition / started comparing to others … but I know these are things I can work on = new goals! GRATEFUL for the progress so far🙏🏽
I have focused on my nutrition, especially protein, to give my muscles and body the nutrients it needs during this injury period - the power of nutrition is HUGE ✨
Gotta take it one day at a time. A healthy moving body is the TOP priority (I’m always encouraging my clients to focus on getting healthier, increasing energy, getting stronger and aesthetics will come as a positive side effect) 💪🏽
Just a fitness coach starting from scratch - again 💛 with the help of Tim - the 🐐-
I’ll be sharing my journey as we go and would love for you to follow along! 🤗

Even though it’s been a rollercoaster, there’s gratitude for moments like these and choosing to be in a good mood the best I can ✨
Mindset and energy are everything - put out good energy, have faith in yourself, and manifest the life you want. Manifest such a clear picture and you’ll find yourself taking steps to making it a reality 🙌🏽
I kinda look like Christmas in these pics LOL 😂
My endometriosis has been kicking my butt since yesterday (was running errands and oh my god lol drenched in sweat and full on pain🫠then blackout symptoms last night🙃) - but I wanted movement today so I opted for a quick workout 💪🏽
The things women go through ^ YAY lol but we smile and carry on 🫡
Hope y’all had a fantastic Sunday! 🤍
Sprinkle that everywhere - and give yourself lots of it too 🫶🏽.

When I was in University, I discovered and fell in love with weight training. This became my positive escape during those stressful days and nights as a student. I loved the way exercise made me feel; I gained confidence, mental clarity and focus, felt energetic and healthy, and felt so strong inside and out. I became passionate about fitness that I decided to compete in bodybuilding shows – not thinking anything was “wrong” with what I was pursuing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
People in the Punjabi community started to say negative things about me and to my parents:
- 🔸“Punjabi girls don’t compete in such shows, this is not acceptable”
- 🔸“Punjabi girls shouldn’t look like that… muscle is for men not girls”
- 🔸“ No one is going to marry her because muscle is manly”
- 🔸“How can you raise your daughter like this and allow her to wear a bikini on stage?”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The negative comments were hard to grasp. At the time, I realized there weren’t other Punjabi girls in our community competing in bodybuilding; I had “dared to do something different.” Those comments made me doubt myself for a bit, feeling less confident, staring at myself in the mirror to see if I was “manly” and asking myself “Am I doing the wrong thing?” It was hurtful to hear those things about me, but after some time I shook this off because my gut knew I was not doing anything wrong. I felt so empowered with weight training. I never gave up and ended up winning Miss Bikini Manitoba in 2014 and placed 2nd in Canada in 2016.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Seeing that my parents were proud and didn’t care what others thought, some of those people that had made negative comments at the time started to support, encourage and ask for health tips.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve learned to ignore what people will say or think, because at the end of the day they are not in my shoes; they are not living my life. We are the creators of our own lives and should live it on our own terms, where you can look in the mirror and be proud of yourself for overcoming challenges, canceling the noise around you and celebrating your progress🙏🏽💛🙌🏽💪🏽.
