Dance Base Yokohamaでのレジデンスでは、身体的・仮想的な振付、デジタルと物理的環境、そして空間音響の実験に焦点を当て、新たなインスタレーションとパフォーマンスのコンセプトを生み出しています。儀礼の構造、瞑想的な実践、現代の音響体験の空間、そして京都のHOSOOをはじめとする日本のパートナーから着想を得ながら、本プロジェクトは「生成AI」を、仮想的・物理的なデザインおよび体験の形態を繋ぐ共通の糸（コネクティブ・スレッド）として、探求します。

Last year I spent 3 weeks in Seoul as part of my research and collaboration. Working with Korean dancer. ‘Portal’ realigns ideas of virtuality into physical reality, using the work of ZHA to sculpt metaverse structures into real world interventions. The new collaborative pieces will include performance and installation informed by ‘Architecting the Metaverse’ a collaboration between ZHA and Refik Anadol (video above) and a bespoke piece in the ZHA TechLab.

‘Architecting the Metaverse’ presented ’s innovative experiments with architectural data both in the physical world and the metaverse using multi-modal AI algorithms to analyse image and script architectural data compiled and composed by ZHA. An immersive experience showcasing the experimental perspective of the metaverse to come, by merging machine learning, AI, and ZHA’s repertoire.
