Donovan brings international experience from both the collegiate and professional levels across the United States, Europe, and Asia, along with Germany’s GFL, the highest level of university football in the UK, and Japan’s X-League which is widely regarded as one of the most competitive leagues outside the United States. With the Berlin Rebels, he threw for over 3,000 yards and accounted for 41 touchdowns, he helped turn around the New Yorker Lions’ season after joining at 0–3 and leading them to the semifinals, and was named Offensive MVP in the UK while playing for a championship winning team.
