研磨室では井越くんが部品を磨き、作業場ではアトリエ長がちょうどセミオーダーの組み立てをはじめました。芝生の緑にパールを加えた新色がいい感じです💓
親方はフルオーダーの一台の仕上げに入っています。こちらは更に深みを増したクロウブルー(カラスの羽の色)。
ずいぶんお待たせしましたがようやく出来上がります。
長雨に地震に台風、大荒れの日本列島ですがアイズバイシクルはなんとか平穏に過ごしています。

先日開催されたジャパンバイクテクニークをグランボア目線でリール動画にしてみました。
NHKの取材、車両チェックに写真撮影、審査員を前にしてのプレゼンテーション、JBTならではの早朝スタート、旧道走りなど。
これでも全然語りつくせない内容ではありますが、少しでも皆様にお伝えできればと思っています。興味を持たれた方はJBTのホームページはもとより、サイスポのウェブ版や、グランボアのブログ、戸田橋サイクルさんのSNSや、シルクサイクルさんのホームページなんかものぞいてみてください。それぞれ思いを込めた自転車づくりをしているのがお分かりいただけると思います。
参加チームはたったの8チームでしたが、自転車そのものもそれぞれ個性的なうえ、ファーマー佐藤さんや川上チタニウムさん、そしてペニーファーシングで参加された火山自転車研究所さんは親方と同年代でライダーとしてもコースを完走されました。それは本当に感動的で、その場にいた皆の心に熱く残り、新たな自転車の可能性を見せてくれたように思います。また、VACTORSさんは2023年起業の若い会社ながら元電気屋さんだったという経歴でアシスト自転車を自社開発されたチームです。ライダーも最速で、しかもとても楽しそうにコースを走破されたのが印象的でした。そして、グランボアの拓未君も頑張りました。忙しい日ごろの作業の合間合間で構想を練り、たった一ヶ月であの自転車を作り上げ、なまった体でJBTルートを完走しました。次の課題に気づく事にもつながったことと思います。実は今日、サンジェのオリビエさんから「よくやった」のメッセージもいただいたんですよ。
その場に入れたことが本当にうれしい、宝物のような2日でした。

ジャパンバイクテクニークはいよいよ今週末です。
グランボアでは親方の後付けアシストランドナーとは別にアトリエ長の伊藤も自ら企画・設計・制作した自転車でエントリーします。
その自転車がようやく出来上がりました。
見たことあると感じてくださった方もいらっしゃると思います。なんと、彼が造ったのは日頃彼が仕事をしている上に常に鎮座している1946年のコンクールデュラルマン(ジャパンバイクテクニークの元になったフランスのイベント)の優勝車であるアレックスサンジェをオマージュした一台でした。

今日は朝から割と間断なくお客様が来てくださってましたが、午後にはお馴染みのこのご夫婦も！
さりげない街乗りスタイルのお二人ですが、夫婦でヴィンテージ自転車を楽しんでおられます。奥様の自転車は1950年代のロット式変速機カンビオコルサ仕様のグランボア。これは数年前に新車でフレームからお作りしたものなんですよ。😉

鹿児島からスタートしてはじめてのロングツーリングの真っ最中のUさんがメンテナンスにお立ち寄りくださいました。旅はちょうど半ば、あと一ヶ月ほどかけて青森は大間を目指すとのことです。
真っ赤なグランボアに合わせたのは軽い新素材で作られたお手製のフロントバッグ！それにサイドバッグはオーダーであつらえたそうです。旅の用品のほかにキャンプのためのテントや寝袋、調理道具まで入っているそうですがうまく収まってますね〜😊食材も運ぶんですから結構な荷物です。
見かけたら是非エールを送ってあげてね。

本田技研工業さんのブースの一角で1台のみ展示させていただきましたが、たくさんの方とお話しできてとても有意義な2日間でした。ご来場いただいた皆さまありがとうございました😊
スマチャリで足を止めてくださる方はもちろん、ランドナーに惹かれて立ち止まってくださる方も結構おられたのが印象的でした。そんな方に「今日はスマチャリの展示がメインなんですよ」とお伝えすると初めてアシストユニットが搭載されていることに気付くという方も結構おられました。
今回のスマチャリキットは様々な車種に搭載可能です。グランボアではできるだけ搭載前の自転車のイメージを大切に取り付け作業を行います。

昔からのお客様のSさんがTOEI ランドナーにランブイエのバッグの前後セットでツーリングの途中に立ち寄ってくださいました。

紙地図もちゃんと入るし、携帯やお財布などはマップケースの下の大容量ポケットに収まって本体を開けることなくアプローチ可能です。
グランボアが行き着いた現代のサイクリング用バッグ、「ランブイエ2019」は、コーデュラスペクトラナイロンとリップストップナイロンを組み合わせて軽さと丈夫さを両立したモデルです。バッグのみでは自立せず、中に荷物を詰めることで形が整うところも画期的。それでいて使ってみるととても使いやすいのです。
