Iโve been very blessed to have found talented stylists in denver that I can trust with my curls but when Iโm home I always try to see Karina๐. Sheโs seen my hair throughout many many stages & has also been responsible for drastic looks (bobs, pixies), so I just trust her completely. Professionally Iโve learned so much from her too ๐๐ป Idk getting a cut back home just hits differently, we gotta support each other yโknow.

Iโm a really introverted person, always have been. Growing up people have always described me as โla callaรญtaโ (the quiet one). Thereโs no shame in being introverted, but it is a problem when it gets in the way of our own happiness. โ๐ป
As I get older, I try to push myself out of my shell like others have done for me, and Iโve also had to do that for my friends! โจ
On this day at the beach, my friend says to me โYou donโt care if people watch us take pictures of ourselves?โ to which I replied โNo, I want to remember this day. Those people are probably thinking about what theyโre gonna have for lunch later, and if theyโre watching they probably think โaww they seem happy, I like their swimsuitsโโ๐
I must admit that at first I was nervous but as soon as I said that, I believed it, and so did she! Suddenly every person around us was just background noise. ๐
Moral is, fake it til you make it. Itโs okay if youโre not immediately comfortable with some things (Trust me, Iโm at a completely different place at 25 than I was when I was 19), but please remember:
Words are powerful! Your mind believes everything you say, whether its good or bad. I talk to myself constantly, cause if I donโt, I wouldโve never had the courage to go to concerts or for jogs alone. I wouldโve missed out on very fulfilling moments. Also, surround yourself with people that motivate you, Iโm thankful for mine๐
