I’m always behind the lens 📸 and unless you follow my stories, most people never see who makes all this glorious food. My name is Erica, and I’m the creative brain, chef, stylist, and photographer behind The Crumby Kitchen. My sweet husband, Abe is an incredible cook also, so he helps out in that area sometimes - but he’s mainly my biggest source of inspiration, as well as my harshest food critic. I need his realism, and I’m so lucky to have it! ❤️
I’m a former bakery manager turned full-time content creator/photographer since 2017. In addition to the blog, I also run with my bestie - we used to work together weekly, but are now virtual partners since Abe and I moved to Georgia and she to Michigan. FaceTime chats once a week are always squirrel sessions for us. 😂
Fun fact: I have no formal culinary training. 😋Everything I know about cooking, I learned from my Nana Irene, Abe, and the many many cooking shows I watch and other blogs I follow. I enjoy a challenge, so perfecting the lamination on croissants 🥐 or achieving the puffiest 🍫 soufflé are the kinds of goals I wake up with every day.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling ✈️ to new places & EATING ALL THE THINGS, playing and #smashbrothers 🎮 with my extended family and friends (Abe and I are big into gaming), binge watching Korean dramas, and cuddling my sweet fur🐾babies (who’s IG profile will get attention some day lol). I truly try to live every day to the fullest, and I’m always looking for a new project to get excited about.
