I had been painting since I was a little girl on and off. Coming back to it when I had time over the years. I would sell my paintings on and off but never admitted/believed I could ever have an art career. I chose a different path in college and settled to have it as a side quest.
Although I am far from supporting myself completely from art I have no doubt I will someday. My dream of being an artist was ignited again when I started to paint these large florals using watercolor and because of following that itch to paint big last year I now have this community, opportunities that I never even knew existed and an excitement for what’s to come.
I know it’s going to be a lot of work and I still have so much to learn but I’m just so thankful for this little flower or I guess big flower that has brought me so much joy and reminded me who I was always meant to be 🌺
