Et au fond, la question revient… pourquoi?
Pour moi, il n’y a pas vraiment de “pourquoi”. C’est surtout une histoire de dépassement personnel. Avoir un défi qui semble irréalisable, traverser ses doutes, puis foncer quand même. L’être humain a des capacités extraordinaires, et c’est en poussant les limites du « irréel » que j’ai trouvé la force de terminer cette course.
Chaque personne qui s’inscrit à un 100 milles a son propre objectif. Personne n’a le même train de vie, le même volume d’entraînement, la même alimentation ou les mêmes sacrifices. Mais une chose nous unit tous: faire tout ce qu’on peut pour atteindre la ligne d’arrivée.
À un certain moment dans la course, tout se passe dans la tête. Garder le moral fort. Ne pas laisser les petits démons te convaincre d’abandonner. Et crois-moi… l’envie d’arrêter vient souvent.
Peu importe le défi — un 5 km, un 20 km, un tour de vélo — accomplir quelque chose qui semblait impossible pour toi… c’est un sentiment incroyable. Et c’est exactement ce qui m’a fait tenir jusqu’au bout.

Une course d’endurance extrême qui m’a demandé près de 30 heures d’effort sans arrêt.
Pas de sommeil, juste avancer, gérer la douleur, la fatigue et les montagnes, un pas a fois.
Ce défi, c’est plus qu’une course: c’est un combat mental, un voyage intérieur.
